My wife and I got into the vacation rental business in late 2019 in Pigeon Forge, TN, right before you-know-what happened. We learned a lot from that time and are still learning. Since '19, we've grown from one cabin to four...two in Pigeon Forge, TN that are managed by Evolve and two in Murphy, NC. We live in Oconee County, GA, just outside of Athens, GA. I'm an outside sales rep for a Sanitary Process Equipment distributor and my wife's a Realtor®. We have one daughter (Rosemary) and three big dogs, Waylon, Abby and Gatlin.

Why they chose this property

This area of Cherokee County is sparsely populated and quiet, yet still close to Murphy, Blairsville, Blue Ridge and Hiawassee. I picked this area to build in because of how beautiful and serene it is in the area.

What makes this property unique

The most impressive thing about Nantahala Hideaway is how peaceful and quiet it is in the surrounding woods, and yet you still have breathtaking views of the Appalachians. At night you can hear every cicada and cricket singing amongst the fireflies.
