About the host
Hosted by Doug Fischer
I work out of town for the summer and don't want my house sitting vacant all that time. Houseplants need to be watered weekly - if a pipe bursts or something, I'd like to know. This is not a hotel, but my home. I close off two bedrooms when I go, leaving the primary bedroom and guest room open for guests.

My neighbors are all good friends on all sides in this quiet neighborhood where we spend a lot of time outside.
What makes this property unique
The garden is private front and back. Lots of birds visit the small pond in back with its burbling fountain.
