Location is good. Cute, well appointed and nice aesthetically but not as comfortable as I would have liked. The couch was pretty bad and the beds were so-so. Clean and well stocked (although there were only 2 forks), although we had to buy our own regular Keurig coffees. The listing indicated a hot tub, but there is not one. The shower leaks and there will be problems with the drywall if they don't fix it. It also resulted in a pretty low shower volume. Some easy fixes would make this a great stay.
Is was a nice place to stay and very clean. This location was also close to downtown Laurel and also close to shopping and restaurants. The only complaint I have is someone cutting the grass early in the morning which made it hard to sleep in.
Great little place a little off the beaten path but still close enough to drive to the Laurel sights. Only negative was the listing said it had a hot tub and it didn’t have one. Could tell the inside has been updated and was as pictured but porch could use a little love. With being a duplex you can definitely hear the neighbors walking around, tv and talking at times.

LLaurel trip
Poorly organized.
We did clean and rearrange some furniture to make it work better
We are seniors so a couple of items were more of a challenge for us to use
First a couple of nite lights would have been appreciated
The living room furniture was very low so it was difficult to sit down & very hard to stand up from a sitting position
The outside bannister was quite rough & splintered
We needed to use it for support both up & down
The unit was comfortable & quiet

Charming cottage
The cottage is charming. The inside was clean and comfortable, although a bit cramped. Trash had not been picked up recently and we had no choice but to add to the problem.
The cottage is located immediately adjacent to an industrial area. We’ve stayed at Vrbo properties before and found most owners to be very thoughtful about making spaces comfortable for guests. This property felt as if it was for investment purposes only.
This home is exactly as described. Easy check in check out. Good communication. This rental has worked perfect for us on many of our stays in Laurel.

Bad experience
The duplex was cute and clean but when we arrived the sinks wouldn’t drain and the toilet wouldn’t flush. The host sent over maintenance while we went to dinner. Maintenance left at 10:00 pm with no resolution. Tried to call host and was informed I was disturbing her but she texted me a property the next town over that we could stay in the next day. This was not acceptable. We finally found a hotel and notified the host via text we were leaving and would be requiring a refund. The host texted the following morning that I would have to call VRBO to receive refund. I felt that was her responsibility but I took 30 minutes of my vacation to receive my full refund. Very disappointed in the host’s overall response.
We had planned a couple night stay, but realized we could see everything we wanted to in one day. Unfortunately you don't know that until you get someplace.
My boys and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family about 45 minutes away for a reunion. The space was super clean and perfect for our stay. It's always nice having access to washer and dryer when traveling so that we can pack less clothes. Having a kitchen space is a bonus also though I wasn't planning to cook. I did end up making a grilled cheese late one night with items that I had left over from earlier in the week. I also used the keurig to make coffee both mornings. I would choose to stay here again if my travels bring me to the area. I also told other family members about this VRBO.
We enjoyed the stay but I highly recommend blinds or curtains that are not see through. With the street lights & area, it was so bright& light at night we couldn’t sleep. Also, uncomfortable with people seeing in driving down the road looking in.
We enjoyed our quick stay here! The property is just as pictured and listed. Location was excellent, as it was so close to the downtown area! Ashli was an excellent host! She was very communicative, easy to reach, and quick to respond.
