Great beach rental

We just had an amazing vacation in this rental in Kure Beach. The location is great. Right across from the beach plus walking distance to the pier and restaurants. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We had 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 9 to 11). So the bunk room was great. So was the 1st floor room w the couch for the kids to go watch tv for down time after the beach. Having 2 masters w king beds was also great!!! The beds were also comfortable, something we have struggled with in other rentals. Grill was a plus and in good shape. Appreciated the ample beach chairs and wagons in the garage. It was all in good shape too! Communication with the owner was top notch. One of the best places we’ve stayed at in this general area and we’ve been coming here for 10 years. Can’t wait to go back!

Clean and well-appointed house just steps from beach

We had an excellent stay! The house location is excellent - just a half block to the beach and 2 blocks to the pier and restaurants. The house had a great amount of space. Plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and 6 young adults/teens. Kitchen was well-appointed which made cooking dinners for our group a breeze. The gas grill was super helpful to have as well. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the house and how well stocked it was. The garage of beach items was amazing! Our kids enjoyed trying the skim boards. We ran into a few issues, but the very addressed and corrected so quickly by the owners. Their communication was awesome. We truly felt like guests in their home. Kure Beach has become a favorite destination for our family, and we hope to return soon! Thanks for a wonderful week of memories!!

We love this property because of it's location, size, and amenities. This year was the best yet! The owner is responsive and helpful if you need anything, but most of the time we dont need a thing. Thats part of the appeal, everything is included and we really appreciate it. We will be back for our 11th time!

Absolutely amazing!

It’s better than the pictures and description! You are only a block away from the water/ beach and you have a spectacular view from both of the front balconies. Lea Anne was helpful and easy to communicate with from the start of our reservation to the end of our trip. We had 4 adults plus 4 kids and we had plenty of space and comfort. The home is very well stocked and well taken care of too. We plan on coming back next year.

Father/Son fishing trip

Looking for a rental for a father and son fishing trip a couple of years ago and I found Happy Ours. This was the perfect setup for our group of 12. The condo was clean, updated, and had all the amenities needed for a great vacation. The owners were super nice and communication was superb. This was the go to choice for our trip this year. Again, the entire experience was top notch. We will hopefully be back again next year.

My family had a wonderful time in this lovely five bedroom property at Kure Beach. The owner was quite responsive when we had a minor glitch with the refrigerator. Fixed in a jiffy!This property is not only attractive and functional, but was very well equipped with beach equipment, toys, grill, wagons, bikes, etc.

The perfect place

Our family had an amazing stay in this beautiful beach house. The location is perfect—just a quick walk to the beach. Lea Anne was very helpful and responded quickly to any and all questions both before and during our stay. The stocked garage sent this vacation home over the top. Our Favorite Beach House!

Our family gets together at the beach biennially, and this is our favorite beach house so far! Lea Anne and Scott have created a homey atmosphere for spending time together, relaxing, and making memories. The house is warmly decorated, super clean, organized, and comfortable. It includes all of the kitchen amenities you might need, and tons of beach/vacation amenities, too- chairs, boogie boards, carts to haul them in. There are bicycles, and a very nice gas grill, too! This was our first time not being directly on the beach, which we thought we would miss, but this wonderful house and location easily made up for the few extra steps it took to put our feet in the sand, and the deck not only provides a great view to the ocean, but it’s fun to watch vacationers passing by along the street, too. We walked to get ice cream, dinner, and to do our traditional family t-shirt shopping spree. The Kure pier area is not loud or crowded, but it has just enough to offer that you could park and never leave/drive (or have to find and pay for parking!) for your full vacation. We really loved this house, location, and the hosts. All three: FIVE STARS!

Great location! The home has everything you need from beach gear/carts to all the kitchen and grilling utensils. Plenty of space for all your family and the location is perfect as it's so close to everything. The owners pay attention to detail and are very responsive.
