OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, including poor air quality and smoke associated with wildfires, we highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to cover your cancellation, as we will not be able to offer a full refund outside the cancellation window.

Please note that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot always control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are far and few between, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try and accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.

One lesson we've learned about the great outdoors is the frequent requirement to wipe down the deck furniture. Despite our efforts to maintain the utmost cleanliness for your convenience, it seems that nature is working against us. You may need to wipe down the outdoor table, chairs, and any other outdoor seating. The dust and pollen accumulates within a matter of hours.

Please note that this rental does require purchasing short term vacation rental insurance for stays up to 29 nights (reservations longer than 29 nights will need to discuss insurance options with Tahoe Cohost Collective prior to booking). The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury, if the fee has been paid. Complete terms regarding the Trust and Safety coverage can be found at www. go.safely .com/tahoecohostcollective. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible or minimum claim amount will be the responsibility of the Guest, and Tahoe Cohost Collective will process using the form of payment on file for Guest.

Tahoe Cohost Collective is not a property manager and is not liable for any injury or damages incurred while staying at the property. All reservations are between the booking platform, the property owner, and the guest.

We hope you will enjoy the dry sauna we have at our home! While we do our best to clean the sauna before every stay, because the sauna is outdoors in the elements, there is a chance you may see a small amount of mold. The sauna is safe to use.

Cozy well-appointed cabin

Loved the location and the charm and coziness of this cabin. Super ran and had everything we needed and then some. I will say I was nervous at first because the listing said "electric fireplace" butit was gas with an electric remote...super awe!

Perfect Retreat With All the Necessities

The perfect cabin in the woods by the lake. This house has everything; great location, comfortable beds, kitchen was stocked with all utensils and good sharp knives (having dull knives in a rental is the worst) plus the best variety of hot sauces anyone could ask for. Sauna was the icing on the cake! Scott was attentive and responded quickly, overall excellent experience.

What a great place!

We had SO much fun staying at this adorable cabin. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with nearly every tool you might need, the game closet was full of interseting games (including our favorite, Catan!) and the deck was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and afternoon reading. The cabin is tucked into a neighborhood so you are away from the busy-ness that sometimes comes with Tahoe in the summer and it was fun to watch all of the 4-wheelers headed up to the Rubicon trail head. Thank you for sharing your place with us! It was such good family time.

Perfect Tahoe cabin

I absolutely loved this house. You can tell it is a very well loved house by the owners! It had fabulous amenities and great cookware— there was literally nothing missing! The house was so kid friendly, too— my 5 and 3 year old were excited about the bunk bed and toys, and the adults were excited about the kid friendly plates, etc. also a huge bonus that it is dog friendly as we love Tahoe with our pup! It is a tiny A-frame and every inch of the house is maximized for space. It is a great location, right at the base of the rubicon trail. If you have a very car enthusiastic 3 year old Kid with you, it’s an added bonus to watch the off-road vehicles come and go all day. It can get a bit busy in that regard, but the street itself is quiet, tucked away from the highway noise. We enjoyed great walks to Chambers, Tahoma market, and more. I can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you Scott and sue for everything!

Wonderful cabin right by the Rubicon OHV trail

We rented this place for a family reunion in summer. It is a great little cabin, perfect for 2 people, a very well appointed kitchen, right at the start of the Rubicon OHV trail, with mountain biking/hiking trails within walking distance & a quiet neighborhood. It has it all! Wish there was a way to give 4.5 stars, instead of 5. There is not enough furniture in the bedrooms, so be prepared. The bedrooms have no dressers & one of the bedrooms had no accessible closet. It was challenging for we had nicer clothes for parties and dinners. But overall a great place & we plan to book there again!
