Nothing better than being right in the middle of Hollywood - yet having the privacy of a traditional house. This home is on a very large lot. You will enjoy a beautiful porch overlooking nice front yard; plus more relaxing spaces in the rear yard including a very large deck that is accessible from both the Master Bedroom as well as Bedroom 2.
The super large rear yard has a newly built Gazebo - with lounging chairs to enjoy beautiful Hollywood Hills.

From the Deck - you can see some NETFLIX Studio. You will be less than 2 blocks to PARAMOUNT Studios amongst others.

And let's not forget the local favorite - FRANKLIN VILLAGE! This is a locals delight for restaurants and coffee places. You can't ask for a better location in HOLLYWOOD.

Also, the Home has driveway that can fit 4-Cars - so never an issue with Parking.

Die Lage ist gut, aber das Haus ist etwas herunter gekommen. Scheiben kaputt, Möbel nicht funktionsfähig (Schrank), Verkleidung vom Bett fällt auseinander, Bettwäsche zwar gewaschen, aber fleckig.

Location great - home is “meh”
The owner of this home has made no effort to create a welcoming space. The bedding and towels are cheap. There was no hand soap, dishwasher tabs, trash bags,or sponges. We were provided 3 washcloths and one dish towel for four nights and four people. There aren’t enough bedside tables and there is no place to put personal items in the master bathroom. The master bed was comfortable while the other two were hard. The kitchen and bathrooms are outdated and there are areas of the house that smell. The TV is mounted in a corner and doesn’t swivel so we couldn’t use it. There were empty boxes of things they added around the house (front door lock, solar lights, hairdryer) and there continues to be missing lightbulbs. Lots of cobwebs on the deck and the plants inside had tons of dead leaves on them that we threw away. There was no information book so we had to text to get internet info. It feels like a home that is staged for sale and not set up for people to actually stay there.

We left after one night and VRBO refunded our service changes but we were unable to get our money back for the 2 nights we didn't stay there. 1) upon arrival we couldn't get into the house 2) the backdoor was left unlocked because the front door was not working - huge security issue considering the area 3) was not as advertised. 4) no bedside tables 5) kitchen was dirty 6) everything in the place was cheap. The pillows were awful and the beds were like wood. 7) return air in the kitchen was packed with dust and dirt. took a broom too it and the dirt fell to the floor 8)Outlet in the bathroom was not working and hanging from the wall 9) all of the lights in the house didn't work 10) Light above the main bathroom sink had a broken light bulb in it therefore did not work 11)Bedroom doors didnt close all the way 12) No mirror above the bathroom sink 13) hole in the blinds 14) closet in the front room would not open I contacted the owner and I was nice and patient but she eventually became a bit aggressive with her communication. This was a trip with friends but as a family we always stay at VRBO's and never have we ever had an experience like this. I don't know how she got 5 star reviews right after the property was listed on VRBO. I have never been more disappointed or felt scammed than I was by this owner. I am expecting her to respond to this review but we were there maybe 12 hours and there is nothing she could say we did wrong. But in the end she got her money.

This is a cute house in a wonderful location. It’s a convenient neighborhood for seeing lots of LA and the street is quiet and safe. The beds are comfy but the living room furniture is not. The lighting in some rooms is quite poor due to missing or broken bulbs, with no replacements to be found. Some appliances are sketchy or don’t work. Thermostat is nearly inaccessible and very difficult to use. Check-in was complicated because the email contained what turned out to be the next-door address along with the correct one, and we were sent the wrong door codes, which cost us a full hour. That being said, the owner was responsive when she finally became aware of the problem. This is a rental I want to love but we wouldn’t stay here again until we were certain the maintenance issues had been addressed.

Excellent Place Close to Everything
Aside from a couple very minor maintenance issues our stay was perfect. It is right in the heart of Hollywood which works perfectly for being close to everything you might want to do. We mainly stayed here to be close to Universal Studios which was less than 10 min away even with some traffic. Not a lot of road traffic in front of the house, but there was always a lot of foot traffic. This didn't cause any issues, but just be extra careful reversing out of the driveway since viability is limited. We had a lifted Jeep Gladiator which was able to fit in the driveway without any issues. Neighborhood was very quiet, shower was great (had very impressive water pressure), house was updated in all the right ways, and the bed was comfy. Anything on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is within walking distance. There is a nearby Trader Joe's that had excellent parking. WiFi was good and our ATT cell service was excellent. We will absolutely be looking to stay here again when in the area.

Amazing host and location in the heart of Los Angeles!
Location, value, and parking! Skayana was a wonderful host during our stay. The house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The place was as described in the listing. Ample parking, an amazing location with lots of stores, restaurants, cafes, and other points of interest within walking distance. Overall a great experience and would love to stay here again!

A gem in Hollywood
This is a lovely and spacious house on a quiet residential street in the heart of Hollywood — with parking! It was a great home base for our L.A. adventures. The host is friendly and responsive. Highly recommended.

This traditional craftsman has a lot to share as the home was built for the Studio Execs in 1908.

Why they chose this property

Hollywood Studio District is thriving. It is a delight being in the City - but being able to experience it in house with its own large front and backyard. The home is super accessible to freeways - whether you are going to Downtown or Universal Studios. We are also a few minutes UBER ride to Hollywood Bowl - should you want to catch a concert!

What makes this property unique

It is extremely rare to find historic homes. This section of Hollywood and street next to it have several homes that have been preserved. It is a pleasure to see these beautiful, elegant homes standing at a time when everything is being converted into Boxy-builds.
