About this property
2bdrm New Build in Central Location
Only 3 miles or a 13 min drive to Pike Place Market. Even closer to Lumen Field and T-Mobil park, which hare about 2.5 miles or an 8 min drive way. The unit comes with Wi-Fi, self check-in, and a full kitchen. During your stay, you can also enjoy using the free in-unit washer and dryer. Our listing is within driving distance to several popular restaurants, shops, and parks. An ideal base to explore Seattle. It’s tucked away from the main street but super easy to jump on the highway to take you anywhere in the city.
Very stylish and newly built in 2022. Close to 1st hill hospitals, I-5, I-90, Capitol Hill, Lake Washington, and Downtown. Located just a short walk to Judkins Park and Playfield. The home is very private as its the townhome located farthest from the street.
This ground-level townhouse is all on one floor. When you first enter you walk into the living room, which flows into the kitchen. The two bedrooms (one featuring a queen bed and the other a twin trundle) are both located off of the kitchen. The one full bathroom and in-unit washer dryer is also located just off the kitchen.
You will have access to the entire home. Washer and dryer located in-unit is free and will also be accessible for guests.
Neighborhood - The home is located in the small district of Judkins Park in Seattle. Surrounded by up-and-coming neighborhoods that have seen big changes in recent years, the triangular cluster of neighborhoods are still quite sleepy at its core, where one finds Judkins Park.
Most of the commerce and dining in the area is found at its edges. Residences in Judkins Park are mostly older single family homes and a few newer apartment buildings and townhomes.
There is plenty of green space, including the eponymous Judkins Park, which runs parallel to 23rd Ave, and Sam Smith Park, which sits over the I-90 tunnel and adjoins the Northwest African American Museum. Judkins Park area is served by several transit routes, which connect it to downtown, the Mount Bake Light Rail Station, and adjacent neighborhoods, such as the International District. It is thus an ideal spot for commuters to downtown and the east side.
Things to Note - This home does not come with a parking spot. We’d recommend street parking. Free street parking can be found directly in front of the home and is usually pretty easy to find.
The second bedroom has a trundle or daybed, which explains why it is marked as having two twin beds.
Seattle is one of the least air conditioned cities in the US, with only 33% of households having it because historically, we haven’t needed it. Obviously things have changed and it can get hot here now. We have provided a rolling A/C unit that does a very good job of cooling the space. I’m addition to the unit, we have provided fans for each of the bedrooms. Other than what’s provided we do not provide refunds due to weather.
Absolutely No Parties. If any glitter or confetti is found after your stay, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee and may receive a negative review for not following our house guidelines.
Transportation - Check out Sound Transit’s Trip Planner site to see how to best plan your trip using public transportation.
Link Light Rail
The closets light rail location to the home is the International District Station. It’s located about 1.2 miles away, or a 5 minute drive. The light rail offers easy access to downtown’s Pike Place Market, boardwalks, Ferris wheel and more. You can also take the light rail directly to the stadium at UW or downtown.
Whenever I have enough time, I always take the light rail to the airport because it costs $3 vs $35-$65 Uber or Lyft. Keep in mind, it will take you about 5 minutes to the station from the home in a car and another 40 mins to get from the station to the airport. It will help you avoid heavy traffic if that may be an issue too.
Uber & Lyft
The fastest and most reliable mode of transportation in our opinion. Simply download the App and go. Uber/Lyft Driver’s are always minutes away and cost an average of $10-$20 per ride.
Turo & Car2Go
You can rent a car with car sharing apps by downloading Turo or the Car2Go app.
Parking
Street parking is available and is usually pretty ample. The home does not come with a designated parking spot.
