Oceanfront home with sweeping views of the coast and the islands, walk to the beach and coffee shops. See whales and dolphins from almost every room and the hot tub. A private peninsula (a former WWII cannon site) provides privacy and whitewater views up and down the coast. Hear the waves at night. Other features include bikes, fire pit, EV charging, and game room. The backyard is entirely fenced - pets welcome.

Beach Access: The house in located on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Access to the beach is via a set of stairs just down the street. The house comes with stand-up paddle boards, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc.

Bop’s graduation celebration

everything was first class from the communication ahead of time, to the clearly laid out directions, to the extraordinary piece of property and to the immaculately maintained but lived in house and accommodations. Everything we needed was there and it will be a memorable week-end not only for the celebration of my daughters graduation but for the location and setting on the pacific ocean that this property afforded us! First class, first rate!

Awesome spot for a family get together.

Great views, great kitchen, well appointed bathrooms and kitchen utensils. The outdoor areas are really nice. Big lawn, garden, hot tub fire pit. Our family had a wonderful time together at this house. Santa Barbara is a great town, in particular, the Funk Zone and the zoo.

This house is in a great location, high on the cliff overlooking the Pacific but close to town. It is furnished and outfitted with everything you could possibly want. And the host is outstanding.

Exceptional home

This home is far and away the best rental I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location is perfect. The views are absolutely gorgeous. We saw dolphins and even whales in the distance. The house was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The handbook that the owners left us was full of great information-placed to eat, sites to see and all the things their home has to offer. We didn’t take advantage of it but they have paddle boards, bikes and much more. The hosts even left us snacks, coffee and a bottle of wine. We all enjoyed the game room which had a ping pong table, foosball and a card table. The library had the best books to choose from and there were blankets scattered around the house to stay cozy. The outdoor space was fantastic. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. All seating and eating areas were cleaned up for us, including the grill. Overall, the only downfall was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely Fantastic!

We booked this amazing home for my husbands 70th birthday, 6 adults and 2 two year olds. Communications with the owners started before our stay and continued when needed during our stay. Questions we had were answered immediately and concerns addressed with great thoughtfulness. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, very comfortable beds, wonderful gathering areas both inside and out but the view was the memory we will all hold with us! We hope to return in the near future.

Extraordinary property!

Came from Los Angeles to celebrate my 70th birthday and it was a treat to stay here! The house is large and lovely. The back of the house faces the ocean, with a grassy fenced backyard. Everything inside looks new, very clean, and luxurious. There are terraced areas outside, each with seating and purpose. Then there is the truly unique feature of a promontory. The decor is beautiful, not fussy, but tranquil and comfortable. The photos don’t really do it justice. The Mesa location was wonderful. Taking the sidewalk from the house in either direction lead to parks, which allowed wonderful dog walks without having to drive at all. Please know, there is a sleeper sofa but no beds on the first floor. It is not a house for anyone troubled by stairs (one flight). Truly a special, beautiful property!

Great house. Great owner / manager! Incredible sunsets and sunrises. Of course, there are great restaurants, coffee shops and so many cool places to visit in Santa Barbara but this house and property is hard to leave. This is a great place!

Breathtaking!

There are not enough effusive adjectives to describe this special property. It is breathtakingly beautiful and bucolic but also near anything you need as far as groceries, restaurants, etc. It feels as though you are at a private retreat and can block out the rest of the world. This was our first family vacation with our 11 month old granddaughter. There was plenty of room for the 6 adults and baby to have private space, large kitchen and eat in space stocked with everything imaginable... and the views are right out the back windows! The host is readily available and gracious. We want to come back as soon as possible!

Beautiful Home with Amazing sunsets and sunrises

Great location with a beautiful backyard and spectacular views. We canceled a few dinner reservations so we could enjoy the home even more. Property manager was very responsive and kind. The home was perfect for taking morning walks, relaxing with friends and soaking in the fabulous weather! Would highly recommend this home.

Incredible Home

We loved our stay at this home in Mesa! We were traveling with six adults and two young kids. The home was perfect for our family, with ample space to hang together. It is a large home that feels cozy and intimate. Beautiful outdoor space with a fire pit, hot tub, large grass yard and unbelievable views. The location is ideal for access to downtown, Funk Zone and the Wharf without being in touristy-ville. Our only two critiques of the home were that there are lots of small ants that got into the main level (kitchen and powder bathroom). However, I think this is a product of the INCREDIBLE indoor/outdoor living situation. The homeowner left ant traps that we put out which helped. Also, the water pressure was low in the guest bedroom ensuite. But otherwise, fantastic home. Would definitely stay here again!

An Oasis

I can completely understand the other reviews that said they didn't want to leave this place to go anywhere. This house is an oasis, and we didn't want to go anywhere else. My wife and I stayed 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary. Everything about the stay was perfect. Amazing house, stunning location and views. Close to shopping, restaurants, the marina, and State street, but when you are back at this house you feel completely removed from the world. So peaceful and quiet. It was everything we were hoping for. I can't imagine coming to Santa Barbara and not staying here.

The photos don’t do this house justice. The view is SPECTACULAR. There’s a very peaceful energy here. The house is well appointed with everything you could ever need. Wonderful stay

The home quickly became more than just a place to stay for us. It turned into a sanctuary where my siblings, my mom, and I could gather to remember my dad who recently passed awy. The serene surroundings and calming ambiance were just what we needed. The nature outside, the comforts within—every aspect of the home contributed to making a difficult week more bearable.

Spectacular

We had such an amazing time in SB and at this home. It was so lovely and charming. We live in LA and decided to spend a long weekend in Santa Barbara. We have rented a home in Montecito on a prior visit with distant views of the ocean, but this home is on the Ocean. Well maybe I should say it's above the ocean as it sits on a bluff which has spectacular views of the ocean as well as the beach below. The property is beautifully landscaped with a lovely yard where we could enjoy the serenity of the views. The home itself has 4 upstairs bedrooms with the 2 bedrooms showcasing amazing views. Downstairs has a modern kitchen with all the amenities. The home has a cozy beach vibe with a neutral color palette. Living space was great and included a garage converted into a game room. Our hosts Alex and Sarah left wonderful instructions on everything we needed to know to get the best out of the house and area. How we used the home, was to open the accordion style doors to the outside and let the ocean wave sounds filter the room while we relaxed to a glass of wine. We walked down to the beach and took morning jogs along the ocean at the park a few minutes down the street. At night we sat around the fire pit and took in the ocean air, while my kids also lounged in the hot tub a few feet away. It was truly like being at a resort. We absolutely loved it and look forward to returning. We often visit Cabo, Nantucket and the Hamptons, and this was as good!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home!! First of all the location and views were incredible! Also the home is extremely clean and cozy. This was great for our family since we brought our newborn on the trip. It was very easy to communicate with the property manager during our stay. I will definitely return with my family.

Stunning relaxing and perfect family vacation spot

We are from the east coast and spent this past Christmas holiday here. This was such a wonderful spot, none of us wanted our holiday to end! The house was casual but perfectly appointed. The location was perfect and enabled us to enjoy all of Santa Barbara. The best however was the magnificent views and outside space. Honestly we loved many of the views around the area, but none were as special as our back yard while we were here! Our host was easy to connect with and so responsive, as was the property manager. If the measure of a Vrbo is that you want to live there, then we all agree we wish we could. A wonderful spot !
