Nice house to sleep
The owner of the property is very kind. There were a few mishaps but he was responsive in trying to alleviate them. We rented the house for my daughter’s baby shower, which he did approve of us having despite the listing saying no events which was kind of him. We got there and check in was easy with the code. We immediately noticed dirty rags on the kitchen floor which prompted us to look around more. There was a full trash can. The right side of the kitchen sink doesn’t work. There is a dishwasher that doesn’t work (which wasn’t a part of the listing anyway). The pocket door to the bathroom didn’t work. When we contacted the owner he just asked us to put the rags in the washing machine and was aware of the non-working sink and dishwasher. He appeared to be aware of the non-working bathroom door as well as he asked us if we tried pulling up on it- it was completely not functional. So he called a handyman to install a different barn door. He texted me at 5:30 AM asking to come by that morning which he did around 8
The bed in the main room is very comfortable and the room remains dark for good sleep but the other bedroom is very light and a hard bed. Depends on preference if that would be comfortable or not.
The decor was…interesting to say the least. But if you’re just there to sleep or have a roof over your head it does the trick.
Mainly I question the cleanliness as it seems the “cleaners” cut a lot of corners. But I do want to stress how kind and responsive the owner was.
