A nice place with everything you need

There is no elevator and the apartment is on the third floor, so there are a lot of stairs to get up to it. Everyone that we encountered that lives in the apartment building was very nice. There were some issues, but they were taking care of the next day. There was a lot of car and airplane noise. Is a pretty good location, close to South Park and maybe 10 to 15 min. To a lot of shopping. All and all we were comfortable there.

Golden Hill is a neighborhood east of Downtown and south of Balboa Park and is within walking distance of downtown, City College and Balboa Park. It is considered to be one of San Diego’s most historic and architecturally eclectic areas because of its numerous pre-1900 homes and apartments. Golden Hill is a haven for artists and musicians and is home to Black Box Recording Studios, The Habitat Recording Studios, Influx Café, Turf Supper Club, Krakatoa and Pizzeria Luigi. Golden Hill hosts two outdoor concerts each year, The Golden Hill Block Party and Kate Sessions Fest, which are free, all-ages events put on by local artists and musicians.
