About this property

Tiny House Amid the Grandeur of The Hudson Valley

Welcome to "The Tiny" at The Hemptons in Upstate New York! The not-so-tiny house is 400sf with plenty of space to stretch out. Each of the two bedroom lofts have a comfy queen bed on a low profile frame. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking (read: Not good for Thanksgiving, but perfectly suited for standard cooking endeavors). Although we'd encourage you to check out many the local eateries (see below)! The bathroom is full size and likely bigger than the one in your first NYC apartment.

Enjoy breakfast on the deck or grill up some lunch on the BBQ. Take a hike up through the property's private fields and woods on the marked trails and catch a glimpse of the Catskill Mountains. Plenty to explore on-site, as well as in the surrounding area like Taconic State Park, Catamount Mountain Resort, OMI Art Center and Beebe Hill State Forest.

Guests have full access to The Tiny and surrounding lands, as marked.

Please note there an extra $25/night charge per person for reservations with more than 2 guests.

About the host

Host profile image
My partner and I established The Hemptons in 2018, when -- on a whim -- I thought it would be "fun" to buy a farm and grow industrial hemp. Several years (and many lessons learned) later, it has evolved in a way we could not have imagined, and we're excited to share it with you. Over my past 20 years in New York, I've held a variety of jobs, one of which was managing vacation rentals. I understand the importance of and appreciate respectful guests and hosts. We want our guests to have a great time and expect everyone to respect the space and land and each other. All love, no drama, yay nature -- that's the motto here!

What makes this property unique

The Tiny is a special experience. Its novelty in nature makes for a great escape to simpler living with all the comforts of home.
