We had everything we needed at the house, bathrooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. It was close to our family’s house on lake oconee. We had a great time.
We just moved to the area and stayed here while waiting to close on our house. Our kids felt like they were on vacation! It was the perfect space for us!
This home is beautiful and was located close to my family, as well as shopping. I didnt expect such unique and pretty decor! Our host left us welcome food and drink, which was also a pleasant surprise. The home has 2 lovely decks and a terrific layout, with the master suite downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bath upstairs. Thank you for a perfect stay.
This was in a prime location to visit my family/friends that live in the area. Essy check in, communication with Dana was great.. would definetly rent again when we are in the area.i never found the boat dock for the subdivision but it was so close to my families house i just drove back and forth. Im confident that if i asked Dana she would have told me more details, i didnt need to know.
My family and I stayed at the cabin for a long weekend while we visited my extended family at the lake. We loved everything about our stay, from ease of communicating with the owner to the beauty and cleanliness of the property. There were even some snacks awaiting us when we arrived fairly late in the evening after a long drive through heavy rain. Very much appreciated.
All three bedrooms and both bathrooms were clean and well appointed. Plenty of parking, and the location is great for access to a number of lakeside developments. All in all, next time we head to the lake, we will be looking to book this again.
we have lived on lake oconee for 14 years & recently fell in love with what is now the brown dog cabin - we thought is was a delightful spot to get away from it all & an opportunity to share the area we love with others.
Why they chose this property
we live 10 minutes from lake oconee plantation, where the brown dog cabin is located, & love that this small, close knit community offers a private boat ramp for access to the lake for boat, jet ski, kayak, to fish or just float.
What makes this property unique
this home has just been remodeled with new paint, flooring, main bath, kitchen sink & countertops - all new mattresses & linens!
