This apartment was absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully designed, spotless, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. The location in Utica was perfect, close to everything yet in a quiet and relaxing setting. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely book again! Highly recommend.
We love staying in the quiet little town of Utica. Only an hour from home and we go once or twice a year. This is the first time we’ve stayed at this apartment and we already booked our next stay here. Very cute and clean and the perfect location! Would highly recommend this spot!
Stayed here for a weekend trip with my wife. Suite was perfect for our weekend away. Couldn't have asked for a better location to local restaurants, shops and attractions. Very friendly, clean, fun and respectful community. We can't wait to book this place again and go back!
Kelly exceeded our expectations…
The location and accommodations were just stellar. I don’t even know what else to say… I was shocked that we could get this place and I will stay here again.
The place is so amazing! It's clean and beautifully decorated. They had everything you could think of! We loved the whole place. It was conveniently located to everything. We could walk the street and go back to our place after dinner or whatnot. We are going to make this an annual stay!
I’m really happy with the stay. The space was perfect- quaint and well equipped. The area was close to bars and Starved Rock. I’m eating clean this month, so there wasn’t a lot of food options within walking distance. However, I would’ve been excited to have a cheat meal in the neighborhood. This was my first time in Peru. I’d go back and stay here in a heartbeat. .
Great place in the small downtown of N Utica. Couldn't get a room at Starved Rock so we pivoted to here and were so glad. Much better than the rooms at SRSP. We ate at the Skoog's Pub right next door (it was New Years Eve and I was worried about noise - not an issue at all) and had coffee and a breakfast sandwich at a cute coffee shop across the street. Everything was great except the check in - VRBO hadn't communicated with Kelly that we we staying. She came down right away and let us in. Really nice place.
This is a very comfortable place to stay. Everything is very well appointed; open and airy; a couples shower(!); restaurants, winery and bars on same street block. We will be back! Highly recommend!!
We enjoyed our trip and the location of this place is perfect to have dinner and enjoy the small town after a hike at starved rock. Trendy decor and cozy fireplace! I wish we would have known what the check in process was sooner because we were getting nervous we didn’t have anywhere to go. I know we couldn’t check in until a specific time but we have always had someone reach out and verify the stay and details with us beforehand. Overall we would book this again though- it was a nice trip!
We could not have chosen a better location for our visit to Starved Rock State Park! Our loft apartment was above a commercial business front that is currently empty. The rest of the street was filled with restaurants, breweries, shops and a winery. The block was blocked off for outdoor seating for all of the restaurants and bars. There was music at both ends of the street on the weekend nights. All we had to do to have fun was walk downstairs! The apartment itself was just as lovely in person as in the photos. There were plenty of towels, dishes, blankets and anything else we might need. I highly recommend this rental!
My cousin was getting married at Starved Rock Lodge, and I really wasn’t excited with the price to stay there and 2 night minimum. Searched VRBO and immediately loved this place. I originally booked for Fri and Sat night, but ended up having to change it to Sat and Sun because my son had prom. The owner couldn’t get the dates changed through the app, but she blocked an extra day off so I could stay Sat and Sunday:) It was a bit hard to find the unit because there was no longer a spice shop downstairs and I arrived at night, couldn’t see the addresses. The original brick walls and wood floors with modern appliances and upgrades… such a gorgeous place, with amazing natural light. Literally steps from a few bars, a coffee shop, winery and restaurants. The day I left they were closing off the block of 2nd street for outdoor dining and entertainment. I can’t wait to go back for a second stay! The location and space were fantastic. Highly recommend!
