Fishing and swimming! Enjoythe lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. New electric fireplace! River Farm Escape is a 19 acre farm with 5 luxury tiny cottages on the banks of the Pigeon River. Pavilion and pickle ball court when available. Fields , ponds, walking trails and nature are the focus. The Chestnut has a King master, full bathroom with tiled walk in shower and lush linens. Full kitchen , gas stove, Kuerig coffee pot with local coffee starter kit , recliner love seat , and Bar with stools, Living room with smart tv, electric fireplace, Wi-Fi and a surprise welcome gift. Covered porch facing river with 2 rocking chairs. Private fire pit to enjoy! Pavilion and pickle ball court when available. we will be available any time. River Farm Escape is located in Bethel between Waynesville and Canton. Easy drive to Asheville or Maggie Valley. Conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, tubing, rafting, biking ( New Chestnut Mountain Park) and surrounding attractions. River Farm Escape is situated on a farm property with swimming and fishing on the property. A Pavilion and Pickle Ball Court is free to use based on availability. Walking trails and nature are at your back door Free parking is the left of your Tiny cottage. A short drive to a local burger joint or into to Waynesville or Canton for a great local restaurant. Biking is Big in Haywood County so sign up for a local race. PETS This home is not pet friendly. There will be a $200 fine for violation of the no pet policy in order to ensure a clean, safe, and peaceful environment for all guests. NO SMOKING ON PREMISE NO GLASS CONTAINERS OUTSIDE OF THE UNIT AND PLEASE LIMIT ALCOHOL USE TO YOUR UNIT Quiet hours begin at 10pm until 9 am Parking spots or to the left of your unit. A Tiny Home On an Incredible Site
I flew to Asheville to attend the memorial service for a dear friend of mine. I wanted to honor him and be there for his wife and family. At my friend's suggestion, I booked King Bed Cottage # 5. It was perfect. It was "tiny' but was all I needed. Everything was as advertised, although they undersold the property. Steps away from my back door was a peaceful flowing river. The home is on almost 20 acres, all the space you need to walk as much as you want in absolute peace. There were no sounds but nature. I got my walk in every day, my meditation time at the river, and was able to attend the service and fellowship with a peace I could not have had with a hotel room or a typical VRBO. The hostess, Nylenda, was responsive almost immediately and permanently gracious, even when I had to call at 10:00 pm because I was almost lost. Truth was, I was 200 feet away, headed in the wrong direction and she got me back to the property so very graciously. She truly has a heart of hospitality. If you're in the Asheville area, don't even think of staying anywhere else. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome River Front Cottage!
I don't often write reviews, but this place was so amazing that I had to write one for this property. Five stars is not enough for this property! The location is great, close to Asheville, Waynesville, Brevard. Plenty to do in those surrounding towns. This river front cottage is a perfect place for a couples getaway, long weekend, recharge, etc. It is gated and located at the end of a large field with the cottage facing the river. It is not directly on the river, but just a short walk over a small bridge. You can see the river from the back deck. Rocking chairs on the deck, cozy firepit were super relaxing. The cottage is perfectly decorated and the furnishings were first class, comfy king size bed. The cottage has tall ceilings, so it does not feel like a tiny house at all. Nice welcome gift upon arrival. There are five tiny houses together on this property, but the setting is still very private. Would be a great place for multiple families or friends to rent all properties together for a vacation. There is a covered event area that is sometimes rented out, but does not interfere with the cottages being rented. There was an event there while we were staying and we were invited to join them for BBQ. That was a great invite!! Nylenda and her family are your hosts, and they are amazing! Super nice, friendly, great communication! If you have not stayed at this property, you definitely should! You will not be disappointed.
