This cabin definitely has a rustic charm with some great decor and impressive taxidermy throughout. The fireplace and chimney setup are especially cozy, and the overall vibe gives you that authentic cabin feel. That said, there are a number of things future guests should be aware of.The kitchen is functional but could really use some updatesāthereās no full-size fridge, the cookware is minimal and not in great shape, and thereās no ventilation when cooking. The bathroom also needs attention: the shower is extremely small and doesnāt drain, the toilet and sink are both wobbly, and faucets leak throughout the night, which was tough when trying to sleep. The beds are springy and not very comfortable, and the air conditioning unit was loud and barely effective during our stay. The WiFi cut out every few minutes, making it tough to stay connected.River access is beautiful but very steep, so keep that in mind if youāre planning on spending time down there. There was also no BBQ on the deck that we could find, which was a bit disappointing. If youāre looking for a very rustic stay and donāt mind some quirks, this could be a great spotābut a few small upgrades to the kitchen, bathroom, and general maintenance would go a long way in improving the overall experience.
