About the host
Hosted by Tony Cinkutis
We found this property to settle down and raise our family. Shortly thereafter, we built this dream house and raised our first son, two pups (both Rhodesian Ridgebacks named Rucca and Rezse), chickens, goats, and more. Our family was blessed to spend almost a decade here before work took us on more adventures. We still get back to our Maine home as often as possible, but also share it with families and travelers alike.
Why they chose this property
We love the location because it is on a private dirt road off the beaten path, but only minutes from so many hikes, lakes, Saco River, great restaurants, Outlets, and more. No matter if you want to hike Baldface Mountain, Drive Mount Washington Auto Road, Ski, Snowmobile or just relax, this place has something for every time of year. We come back so often because we just love all that Maine has to offer. There are so many hidden gems for the serious hiker or family adventures with toddlers. Just ask and we are happy to share!
What makes this property unique
Any day it doesn't freeze (Spring though Fall), crack the windows at night and awake to fresh mountain air. Or have coffee on the front porch and watch the sun rise or have a drink on the back patio and watch the sun set over the mountains. In the winter, the views are just as great from the inside of the great room and bedrooms!
The house has four bedrooms and is set up perfectly for two families with kids! One wing has the Master w/ En-suite + a bunk-bed room across the hall. The other wing has a Queen / En-suite + Queen/Twin bunk-bed room across the hall. Both wings are joined by a beautiful great-room with open kitchen and dining room.
