This is a very cute cabin. The area is just beautiful along with the wildlife. The area is far enough out that it gives you the quiet and peacefulness but yet close enough to town for anything you need. We really enjoyed our stay!
Mary was amazing answering all my questions before I booked. Told her it was for our anniversary and allowed us to check in early. She even left a nice card and sign for our anniversary with a bottle of wine. We really enjoyed staying and would most definitely recommend it
This was exactly what I was looking for in a affordable cabin. Think studio cabin. Great little set up in a limited space. The owners were amazing to me. When they found out im a Disabled veteran, they did something very special for me. I cant thank them enough for the peaceful and quiet spot for me to stay. Fresh eggs and a nice welcome basket too! Thanks again for your kindness.
Wonderful lil place. Mary's kindness and little touches set this place out. Only thing that could have been better would be a small cement slab to park my motorcycle on. DID I MENTION ITS right off the RATTLESNAKE!!! Bikers paradise.. got some awesome video of the lightning storm that hit us. What a view. Mary if you read this. Cement slab pls.. see ya in the fall
We stayed at the cabin for three nights, and it was great! It looks just like on the pictures, very clean and cozy. The owners are amazing, very responsive and they had everything you might need at the cabin. Cellphone service doesn't work well up there but we downloaded movies and music for entertaining. There are also some books and games at the cabin. That area is very beautiful and peaceful, a great place to take a break and enjoy nature.
Very well furnished cabin. Had plenty of snacks and even farm fresh eggs in the fridge.
Spacious main area. Bathroom had a lower ceiling, so taller individuals may feel cramped or uncomfortable.
My cell service was spotty in the area, but the cabin had a cell signal booster. Google maps was a little off, so I recommend following the owners detailed driving directions.
The fridge was elevated, which was thoughtful. Why don’t other places do this?
The heater worked well.
Owner was nice, prompt and responsive with any questions we had.
We had a long drive and checked in very late. The owner allowed us a late check out.
Located off a quiet road in a secluded area. We felt safe.

I live in Somerset Ky. and love the country life. I love camping, hiking, cooking and anything outdoors.
Why they chose this property
I love where our little cabin is because of all the woods and availability of fishing, hunting, hiking and kayaking so close. I love that I can sit on the porch or out by the fire and hear all of natures sounds and not the noise of traffic.
