Our family had a great stay at the Serendipity Oak Cottage that was as nice and big as a house, situated on the peaceful Wasi Lake. It's nice getting to the cottage too, through farmfields followed by a treed canopy laneway. The expansive lawn is fun for lawn games and there's a nice big firepit for evening campfires beneath the stars and the northern lights if you're luck like we were! The dock is great for chilling or fishing off of (we caught bass, pike, sunfish, perch and a wee pickeral) and there's kayaks and paddle boat to voyage out in solitude or as a group. The big deck and 2 bbqs can accomodate the max of 12 ppl well. As a nature lover, I loved finding various wildlife around such as ducks, comorants, blue jays, hummingbirds, various caterpillars, frogs and a friendly visiting deer.
The water happened to be very high during our stay so we didn't have a lot of beach area and the water was brown but the kids enjoyed the water still :)
Lynne was excellent at being available to answer questions quickly.
Just recommend lots of bug spray! note to keep your guests (regardless of staying over) to a max of 12 due to bylaw rules. Thanks again to Lynne for sharing her beautiful cottage and property with our family!
