Lovely cozy quiet retreat

Had everything we needed, quiet and scenic spot to explore the lake, state park, fall color, and northern lights. The porch was a great spot to watch ducks and loons in the morning and sit in the sun. The cabin was well stocked (kitchen items, linens, firewood, games) and was a great spot for a lazy day too. Megan was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great for families and friends-spacious, clean with a great yard

The area fronting the lake is great and perfect for outdoor louging and games. The interior is very clean and great for enjoying cooler days and/or evening activities. I would LOVE to come back in the winter! As a 60 year Maidstoner this was a great way to expand our space to include family!

Getaway

Very nice quiet area, host was very conciderate and checked up on us first night because of the storm and it knocked power out. Gas stove and wood stove to keep light, heat and cook without power. Had board games for most ages and kept us occupied. Next day we got to enjoy pedal boats and kayaks they provide. I would rent again and bring our kids next time to enjoy the outdoors.

Amazing stay at a beautiful spot

The cabin was very clean with everything we could have asked for. We liked how it was almost two sections where we could close the glass doors and still see into the other space. We were able to stay up later watching tv without disturbing our kids. The spot was perfect! Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views. We enjoyed the big stone fireplace every night and used the outdoor fire pit to roast smores while we looked onto the mountain range in the distance! We all enjoyed our time and our kids (and us) can’t wait to go back.
