Sunshine’s Place
Amazing vacation home is located in Rancho Mirage Country Club. This light and bright open floor plan has 2,372 sq ft of living space, high vaulted ceilings, and lots of windows to let in natural sunlight. The great room has wall to wall windows looking out over a private pool and spa and panoramic western mountain views beyond. This home has plenty of charm, comfort, and personality! We think you’ll love it.

With stunning mountain views and comfortable indoor/outdoor furnishings, this is truly a great home for entertaining friends and family year-round. Inside, the living room has been furnished with a huge sectional sofa and plump oversized chairs perfect for watching TV or curling up with a good book. There’s a 75 inch “smart” cable TV and the spectacular stone fireplace is the focal point of the great room. The dining room seats six and a full wet bar and high-top kitchen counter offers additional bar seating for four. The owners love to cook, and you will too in the spacious chef’s kitchen. It’s perfectly equipped for preparing meals, complete with lovely table settings for casual or formal entertaining.
Then … step through sliding glass doors onto a beautifully furnished pool-side patio with panoramic views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Relax by the pool and soak up as much sun as you wish, take a cool dip or soak in the hot tub under a spectacular star-fill sky. The patio has been furnished for perfect outdoor living, dining and a couple of chaise lounges ideal for an afternoon snooze. And for your “outdoor chef” there is a sizable gas BBQ … ready for whatever’s on tonight’s dinner menu.

Back inside, guests will love the office/den/bedroom … “bonus room.” This is a great space and with number of possibilities … including doors that can be closed for complete privacy. It’s an office with a full-size desk, computer monitor and keyboard. It’s a den with comfortable furnishings and a “smart” cable TV. And … it’s a bedroom with a sofa-bed and closet for storage.
The primary suite it a true “retreat” … spacious, relaxing, and beautiful. Furnished with a king bed, comfortable chair with ottoman, gas fireplace, ceiling fan and “smart” cable TV. It has plenty of closet space for personal belongings and a fabulous en-suite with dual sinks, large soaking tub and walk-in shower. An inviting, quiet space when you need to escape.
The guest bedroom has been furnished with two comfortable queen beds, “smart” cable TV and ceiling fan. There is a work table and chair stored in the closet that can be set up under the window for an additional private work space. There is direct access to a full bathroom with combination tub/shower.
Front loading washer and dryer are located in the kitchen area, and there is an attached two-car garage.
But Wait … There’s More!
This is a beautiful, well maintained and greatly loved vacation home that the owners are happy to share with caring guests. The furnishings and supplies are mostly new in 2021, and of excellent quality. The bedding is luxurious as is all linen and towels and the supplies you would expect in any home are plentiful. It has custom plantation shutters throughout and built-in Bluetooth speakers in the living room, primary bedroom and pool-side deck using for those using Spotify or Apple Music, etc. At the moment, there are no landlines, but owners will consider adding phones with free US and Canada calling for rentals of three months or longer. (Please inquire first). The home has high-speed Wi-Fi, all “smart” TVs, cable channels and ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms. Note: The icemaker in the wet bar does not work.
There is a cap on gas and electricity of $200 per month but this home has solar, so will help with electricity costs. The gas and electric meters will be read on the day of guest arrival and again on the day of departure. The owner will pay the first $200 per month of the combined gas and electric charges. Usage in excess of the cap will be deducted from the security deposit to reimburse the owner. A full accounting will be provided 30 to 45 days from guest departure date, allowing time for owners to receive and submit their gas and electric bills to Vacation Rentals of the Desert, and any deposit funds remaining will be refunded per the terms of the Vacation Rental Contract. If guest usage of gas and electricity exceeds the security deposit the guest is responsible for the overage. The overage will be charged to the card on file after the guest has an opportunity to review the utility usage calculations.
Rancho Mirage Country Club is a gated community of 266 privately owned homes. It is located on the corner of Bob Home Drive and Frank Sinatra in Rancho Mirage. It has 24-hour security gate guards and is a lovely community for walking and is close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. For those who do not choose to heat the pool or spa, there are four community pools and spas. The closest 75-foot pool and oversized spa are within very close walking distance, about 200 feet away, at the end of the street (4 units down). The neighborhood is on flat land and great for walking.
Tenant vehicles with commercial advertising must be parked inside the garage. Also, large vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter, campers and RVs are not permitted.
As in most gated communities, there are strict traffic rules and infractions are fined to owners and guests alike. Please inquire about rules and regulations.
