A unique experience managed by the owner! Stay in our cozy custom built guest cabin where we strive to make you feel like a friend not a tourist. Little bear is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood just 30 minutes from the West Yellowstone Park entrance. It offers all the amenities/conveniences of a hotel suite while providing the tranquility and space of your own mountain retreat!
The space: This is a 256 square foot custom built guest cabin. It offers a unique mountain experience that you can't get in a hotel or one of the many mini cabin compounds in Island Park. Set away from the hustle and bustle of Yellowstone crowds, Little Bear provides a peaceful evening retreat at the end of each fun filled day in the park. This space has a king bed, full bathroom, toaster, small coffee pot, small microwave and a mini fridge. It's a stay where your accommodations will quickly earn a spot as one of the most memorable parts of your adventure!
Other things to note This cabin is located just off of highway 20. Access to the cabin requires traveling a short distance on dirt roads. These roads are exceptionally maintained and do not require 4 wheel drive. However, they can occasionally get messy during heavy rains. Welcome to the mountains!

Our cabin was beautifully decorated, very clean, and everything you needed for your stay. Cheryl communicated prior to check in and made sure had a great vacation.
Very nice, clean cabin just a short drive from West Yellowstone. We only stayed 1 night but it had everything we needed for our stay. Host was quick to respond to any questions we had and offered suggestions. A++ experience!
We loved this stay. It was just far enough away from the busy areas, but close to all local amenities. It was super clean and just the right size for our family of three. Cheryl was so nice. Wish we could have spent more time there. We will definitely be back to stay again.
Our stay was absolutely perfect. Our cabin was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Cheryl was by far the best hostess we’ve ever stayed with, so friendly & helpful & welcoming. We will definitely be back to stay next time we’re in town!! ❤️
Everything exceeded my expectations, I think the listing should be updated to reflect the updated renovation. But maybe not, because when I arrived my expectations were greatly exceeded!
This property was a perfect place for my husband and I to get away for the weekend. The place was clean and was exactly what we expected. Cheryl was great to work with and was available if we needed her. We would reccomend this location to anyone and would stay again.
My wife and I had a wonderful time. Cheryl is very responsive and made our stay simple and pleasant. The cabin has everything you would want to enjoy in this beautiful area. Loved sitting out on the porch in the morning drinking my cup of coffee and listening to the birds in the trees.
This cabin was perfect for my wife and I, it was close to the park entrance but just far enough away that it wasn’t real busy. We were looking for somewhere to unwind after and not deal with the crowds. Very clean and modern yet cozy. Next time we will spend a little more time around Island Park, we really enjoyed a great supper at Cafe Sabor!
Great cabin with quick access to West Yellowstone.
We stayed only two nights and were at the cabin only at night after visiting the park. I would describe it as a stand-alone high quality hotel room with a King bed, which is great! It also has a loft bed, but we did not use it. Located in the woods of Idaho along with two other cabins and a house. There is no vehicle traffic and no city lights. It was very quiet. Just a short drive to West Yellowstone, which has plenty of good food eats and easy access to the west entrance of Yellowstone park.
Very nice place!
This property was perfect for us. After getting up early to hike in Yellowstone, we would eat in West Yellowstone on our way back, to our little cabin in the woods away from all the hustle and bustle. We were able to enjoy a lovely quiet space, read, sit on the deck and enjoy a campfire (if we wanted to). Cheryl was very communicative, friendly and helpful. The cabin has internet but no tv. We loved that because it allowed us to stay in touch with kids back home but stay away from just vegging in front of the tv. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from it all.
Cheryl quickly reached out to us about our stay and provided us with additional information about the cabin and property. Then as it got closer to our stay she provided us with a reminder of things not to forget and things she provides. The day before check-in she provides you with the check-in time, door code, and the WiFi information. It is self check-in which is great.
Cheryl was an amazing host. She was very attentive to our needs and was willing to go out of her way to help. She is close by so she is usually around the different cabins taking care of things to keep it looking nice.
The cabin was amazing it is tucked away in the trees and overall pretty quiet. The inside of the cabin was very nice. It has the log cabin rustic theme and has very nice amenities. There are maps of the local sites and of Yellowstone that you can use while you are there. All the cabins are spacious and in great condition.
There are bird feeders setup around the property so you will see lots of birds, squirrels and chipmunks running around. It is very nice to sit outside, relax and enjoy the quiet. I would definitely recommend Cheryl and her little cabins. We are looking forward to staying there again.
