Located on Navarre Island and Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach! Bring your friends and family together at your own very private backyard oasis directly across from the most beautiful public beach in America, with sugary white sand, seashells, and emerald waters that are as clear as a swimming pool, where you can see your toes at the bottom while nearly chest deep. Stay all day at the beach with a cooler full of ice from your own private filtered commercial ice maker with only a short walk away (the beach is approximately 500 feet viewable from the top balcony), or hang back in your private backyard to grill, sunbathe, swim or float in your private full size pool, nap in one of several hammocks, or watch the game in the covered outdoor living room while grilling. The backyard has so much space and so many areas to lounge around and relax. There is an abundance of decking to be able to enjoy a game of corn hole and others provided.

Every amenity we can think of you will have.

Play your music around the pool through the outdoor stereo, grill your fresh gulf shrimp, steak, or burgers on the charcoal grill sitting next to your wood-burning campfire while watching the game while the kids self-entertain in the pool~ All without the interruptions of other vacationers in your space. **Pool can be heated for Additional Fee during the months of October-March-Weather permitting. Please inquire if you are interested-a 48-72 hour notice before your check-in date is required. **Up to 2 Dogs allowed with Pre-approval for off season months Only(September-May)200.00 per dog.

Bachelorette Haven!
This was the perfect stay for a bachelorette! Backyard is much bigger than the photos show which provide a lot of space for all activities! We spent most of our time outside. The bluetooth speakers were also a hit throughout the weekend! Even though it rained for most of our stay, the fire pit was also something we would've loved to use! Communication with the property owners was so efficient and they always answered within a few minutes of reaching out! Would definitely stay here again! Easy access to the beach and only a 35 minute ride down to downtown Pensacola!

There were 9 of us in our party and the house fit us all exceptionally well! We had more than enough room, the house was stocked with all of the necessities and plenty of games and activities. Family Fun in the Sun
Picturesque patio perfection! Ideal location for beach accessibility. The house makes you feel at home with anything you might need available. The pool was amazing after the long days at the beach. We enjoyed eating at TC’s and getting ice cream at the Twist in Navarre. If you want to take a dolphin cruise we highly recommend Chase N Fins in Pensacola. Jesse and Captain Alex will find you some dolphins! This beach trip was amazing!

The house and pool were great. Sadly we had double red flags for most the week and the pool was a game changer for us to relax and the kids to play. Host was excellent and there to help when called upon.

Wonderful beach house
The house is just as advertised and the back yard is truly amazing. This house has everything you need for the beach/pool and the kitchen is well supplied with every dish or utensil you can think of. These owners know how to make a memorable vacation for their guests. Our only comment is regarding the time the pool cleaner came, it was our last day at 3:30 in the afternoon and we were enjoying the pool. He was very apologetic and say he would come back tomorrow. This is in no way the fault of the owner. Each day after spending the day at the beach, we rinsed off in the outdoor shower and then into the refreshing pool. We spent the evenings lounging in the back yard, kids watching tv and adults listening to music, and the large table accommodated all of us for meals. What a wonderful vacation, I can’t wait to come back!

Great get away
Place was very clean and has everything you need. Beach chairs, umbrellas and a wagon are provided. The beach is a short walk away. The back yard is really nice and was a cool hangout spot. Me and my wife spent more time relaxing around the pool than we did at the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. The owner is in the process of installing a central A/C system for upstairs which will be more comfortable than the portable units you rely on for AC now. You can’t beat the price, close proximity to the beach and the private pool with the large outdoor area to relax in. We’ll definitely be staying here again

February Get Away
We had 6 adults, and there was something that each one wanted and this property had it all. Close walk to the beach, swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, lounge chairs, hammocks, and music. We all had a great time. The host was very nice and helpful. We all had a great time and I would rent it again, the next time we are traveling to the area!

They’ve thoughtfully provided everything you could possibly need or want while at the beach. You really only need your clothing and food. Everything else is already there. The public beach access is super accessible and very near. The host is very friendly and quick to respond, if needed. Another wonderful stay at beautiful Navarre Beach! Thanks guys!

Absolutely Awesome!!
Our group of 8 spent five days at Take Me A Wave. Wished we could’ve stayed for a much longer time. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out if we wanted or hang around together if we wanted. The fenced in backyard area may just be the greatest feature of the property. It is so AWESOME!!! And there is plenty of room there also so that everybody is not right on top of each other. If you want to lounge by the pool you can. Or you can lounge around under the covered area and watch the outdoor tv. Or lay in the hammocks. Or sit around the fire pit. The dtrs family (which included teenage grandkids) spent a lot of time in that area just hanging out reading or talking with their friends on the phone up into the night or playing around in the pool. With the cooler weather it would have been nice had the pool been heated (at least for me) but they didn’t seem to mind. Very short walk to public beach access. There were plenty of beach items to use (chairs, umbrellas, wagon etc). Would’ve loved to have been able to use the tandem kayak. Just not enough time to do everything. There are bicycles to use as well although we had brought our own. Inside the house is greet also. Lots of towels and pillows for everybody. As far I know all the beds were comfortable. TVs in every bedroom is a plus. Really liked the fact that there were plenty of kitchen items for cooking/eating. I think pretty much anything you would need is there. Can’t wait to come back for another, hopefully longer stay!

We had a great time. The neighborhood is awesome. The backyard is amazing. The owner has put together about everything you could possibly need to enjoy yourself. The only problem I would mention, is that the house gets and stays very hot. I dont believe it ever got below 80 degrees. Everything else about the property is awesome.

Great setup!
The home was well maintained and had everything we needed. The backyard is extremely nice with the pool, covered pergola, sound system and fire pit. They has bikes, a kayak, indoor and outdoor games. At night, the backyard was lit up with lights everywhere, 2 grills, and a fan in the pergola area to eat with a nice breeze. The owners, not a disinterested property management company, took the time to make sure our stay was excellent. When we had an issue, they were quick to respond. The beach is a short 4 min walk and the owners provided beach chairs, screw in the sand umbrellas, coolers, toys, and a wagon to easily carry it all. They even had an ice maker so we always had plenty of it for the cooler. Navarre Beach is a beautiful area and the beach is fantastic. Not crowded, great for families and if you want a party beach, Pensacola Beach is only 30 minutes away.

Best Vacation Ever
Mike was a great rental manager. He called me on the first day to give me a walk through of the amenities and to make sure I got in ok. It rained a couple times and the first day that it rained, Mike called to make sure we had everything we needed. He came by after we spoke to make sure the driveway pump was working (it was with, with no problem). Very nice home with just about anything that you can imagine. We could have literally showed up with just a pair of clothes, a swimsuit & food and we wouldn't have needed anything else. The trip was amazing! The backyard was exceptional! Lot's of room. We even left a couple of air mattresses that we thought we needed.... We didn't need them. I don't know if the owners bought all of the little odd and ins or if people were inclined to leave a little keepsake of their own but, there were so many little things that could be used that no other rental has had that we stayed in.... and we stay in a rental every year. There were ice chests, beach chairs, beach toys, bikes, a kayak, pool toys, an assortment of games, an ice maker, more towels than can possibly be used, tvs in every room with streaming, hangers for clothes, a croc pot, just to name a few. and lets not forget the outside radio. There is no way that anyone could possibly be bored. My 9 year old swam like a fish and my parents relaxed on the outdoor furniture. Great time! We would definitely go back again if given the opportunity!! 2 thumbs up!!

We are an average middle-aged family who welcomes you, your friends, family and pets to make memories at the beach.

Why they chose this property

The main reason we love Navarre Beach is that it is strangly gorgeous and totally peaceful as if few have found it yet. Visit any other beach like this and you will see crowds of people and finding a seashell is nearly impossible. At Navarre Beach you walk down most anywhere and start walking west and quickly fill up a shell bag with seashells and other rare treasures. The sunrises and sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, sunrises are our favorite.

What makes this property unique

There are no properties here with a Private backyard except for ours. We built this backyard with a large sand berm around the outside with the primary goal of limiting the visibility into the backyard as much as possible, as well as protecting it from wind and salt spray yet still feel the ocean breeze and hearing the waves crashing. It truly is a private oasis with beautiful landscaping. We are fond of the monarch butterflies and have an ample supply of milkweed for when the eggs hatch and it is the only food monarch caterpillars will eat. If you stay with us in the fall season, it is a butterfly haven.
