Two-room, sun-filled apartment. Bohemian & minimalist vibe. Private entrance. The kitchen & living room are one. No formal dining area. Mini table, chairs & outdoor furniture on a small, private deck. Table outside in the yard, a charcoal grill, and charcoal. A fire pit & marshmallows on request. Walking distance to everything.
THINGS TO NOTE: The main bed is FULL size. Pets are allowed for a charge. The additional sleeping location is the fold-out love seat in the kitchen living area.
The space
Light-filled kitchen/living room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Hardwood furniture, artwork, washer/dryer in unit. Eco-conscious property. Surrounded by trees. Your own mini deck. Birds chirping by day, owls by night. Herb garden, compost, fully fenced-in private yard with private access.
Guest access
Separate property entrance, outdoor shared space. There is a fenced-in yard. The yard is a work in progress. Best described as post-apocalyptic chic. However, planting season has begun - watch as it makes a slow transformation.
Other things to note
Across the train tracks is Revolution Donuts (a 5-minute walk), and Imperial Bar and Restaurant(a 6-minute walk). According to (rhymes with oogle) Maps, Close to A lot: Thinking Man Bar and Grill 7-minute walk. Decatur Square 23-minute walk All within walking distance. MARTA station 6-minutes walking. Street parking is usually available. A large, enthusiastic dog occasionally enters the gated area near your mini-deck. There are train tracks nearby. I personally find the sound of the train charming but you might not. The neighbors are friendly.
Decatur is a charming, family neighborhood with fine dining restaurants in the city (more like a town) center. Four blocks to Atlanta but quieter and quainter.
There are children living next door. Let us know if you have any noise complaints.
