Welcome to our modern, chic shipping container studio apartments in the heart of downtown Jax. The location includes easy access to the Jaguars' stadium, local restaurants and breweries, and a 30 min drive to Jax Beach. Our location is perfect for guests traveling solo or couples visiting the city for work travel or a weekend of sports and brewery hopping.
This is an urban area so please be comfortable with this type of location if booking with us. (see the Neighborhood section of our listing)
The Space:
This is a custom shipping container apartment, a creative and unique way to stay. Ever wanted to stay in a "tiny house"? Been intrigued about a simple yet modern spot to relax? Look no further! This is the place for you.
Guest Access:
You'll have access to the entire unit.
Nearby parking is generally free street parking that is first come first served.
The Neighborhood:
This unit is located in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. We are a block from a local fire department, so there is some noise when they are notified of a call. There is also a local shelter/rehabilitation center nearby so it is not uncommon to have some street traffic with individuals walking by. As with an urban city, Jacksonville does have a homeless population that lives downtown that you may see during your stay. This location is also close to John E. Goode Pre-trial Detention Facility. Thus, you may see bail bond retailers in the adjacent neighborhood.
Getting Around:
Public transportation is minimal in Jacksonville in general. You are a few blocks from the downtown bus terminal if you would like to use that.
There is also the Skyway if you would like to take a short trip around the urban core area.

PLEASE CONTACT US PRIOR TO BOOKING IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REVIEW RENTAL AGREEMENT.
We charge for additional guests above a fixed amount. This amount and additional charge varies by unit type, size, and configuration. If you input the correct guest count when you make your reservation the amount the booking site indicated as the total cost will not change (due to guest count). We ask for confirmation of guest count after you complete your booking. If you need to increase your guest count after booking confirmation due to a booking error, this could result in a price increase. Finally, we verify guest count via external cameras located on our properties. In the event that we notice a guest count at the property that is higher than reported, we reserve the right to ask for additional guest fees that would be double the amount we would have charged prior to check-in.
Kindly refer to the following guidelines regarding fees for extra guests:
Studio & 1 BR units - $25 per guest/night after 2 guests (i.e. 3 guests would be $25/night extra and 4 guests would be $50/night extra)
2 BR units - $30 per guest/night after 4 guests (i.e. 5 guests would be $30/night extra and 6 guests would be $60/night extra)
3 BR unit - $35 per guest/night after 6 guests (i.e. 7 guests would be $35/night extra and 8 guests would be $70/night extra)
4 BR units - $40 per guest/night after 8 guests (i.e. 9 guests would be $40/night extra and 10 guests would be $80/night extra)
5 BR+ units - $45 per guest/night after 10 guests (i.e. 11 guests would be $45/night extra and 12 guests would be $90/night extra)
This property is NOT pet-friendly.
We have a minimum 7 day stay requirement for local guests. We rarely make an exception to policy but may elect to do so at our sole discretion. If you are local to Jax and book for less than 7 days we reserve the right to ask you to cancel your reservation.
All guests have access to the common areas of the property (front porch, laundry room, backyard).
If another set of guests, our cleaners, or a property notices that there is guest property or trash left out, this will be removed. If we can’t distinguish property from trash, there is a possibility it will be thrown out.
If this continues (I.e. you use shared space as personal space and/or throw what appears to be trash there), we reserve the right to ask you to check out early / move to another listing at your cost.
Please note that we have exterior Ring security cameras on the front and back porches to enhance your security and safety.
Gatherings/parties of any kind are strictly forbidden at this property.
If you host a gathering/party/event at this property we will levy a $1000 fine.
Also, Saturday check-ins and check-outs are (generally) not allowed unless you are booking a stay that is >7 days, with the exception of some specific weekends (FL-GA and TPC Sawgrass weekends are a few examples) . I may allow an exception to this policy (depending on the specific weekend and season) but reserve the right not to do so or to ask you to modify of cancel a reservation starting or ending on a Saturday.
The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming I can offer this at all (I often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):
1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $100
1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $200
2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $300
3+ hr early arrival/late departure: $400 or the cost of an additional night’s stay, whichever is more
These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes my cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which I hold them to.
***Smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - the house, front porch, back deck, or front or back yard***
***If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on porch, deck, empty cigarette packs, etc.) We will assess a $500 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee***
You are strictly forbidden from bringing firearms or items associated with them (including guns, bullets, gunpowder, shells, magazines, silencers, etc.) on this property whether or not they are licensed. If you violate this policy or we find evidence that you did (e.g. firearms or bullets are discovered by our cleaners following your stay) we will assess a $1000 fine.
For guests requiring a pack n play, high chair, or any other non-standard item, please submit your request at least 7 days before check-in to ensure availability. If the request is made less than 7 days prior to check-in, we will make every effort to accommodate it, but cannot guarantee availability.
Interaction with Guests:
My team and I live / work in nearby historic Springfield (about a mile to the northwest). We are generally available during weekday working hours if needed.
