REASONS YOU WILL NOT WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE ON YOUR NEXT UTAH SKI TRIP.

REASON 1: LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! You can’t beat the location. You are less then four minutes away from the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon- home to Snowbird and Alta and less then two minutes away from the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon- home to Solitude and Brighton. (Within 13 to 18 minutes total drive time to four of Utah's greatest ski resorts). THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE: Sometimes during the ski season when it really dumps, Alta and Snowbird get enough snow that they are forced to close down the canyon road for several hours due to avalanche control. This is not the case with the resorts in Big Cottonwood Canyon, on these days you can just as easily make the decision to ski Solitude and Brighton avoiding Little Cottonwood Canyon closure. You get to do what you came here to do independent of the weather which is great news for you!

DON’T FEEL LIKE DRIVING? Take the ski shuttle bus from the mouth of either canyon. It costs just a few bucks and takes you straight to your destination.

You are also within walking distance of the super-market, and just a few minutes away from local fun ski-hangouts such as The Canyon Inn, Hogs Wallow, and Porcipine Grill, as well as ski and board shops, shopping, movies, coffee shops, and the freeway entrance.

Feel like our four famous resorts haven’t completely scratched that skiing itch? Jump in the car and drive 30 minutes up to Deer Valley, The Canyons, and Park City Mountain Resort, home of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Park City is a fabulous resort town, a destination definitely worth checking out during your stay in Utah.

Great house for skiing
This is a great house for a ski trip. We had a great experience interacting with Marzena and Iga. Iga stays in the basement apartment and is there to help with anything you need but you'd never know she's there unless you're looking for her. The house is a short drive to the entrance of both canyon roads to get to Snowbird/Alta or Brighton/Solitude. Three bedrooms with a queen or king mattress plus a bonus sleeping area with another king bed, all very comfortable. Smith's grocery store is right around the corner to get what you need to cook. Park City is about 40 minutes away and worth the drive even if you're an Ikon pass holder, just a dinner in PC is fun. One minor thing to expect is that the loft sleeping area will be 5-10 degrees colder than the bedrooms during the winter because of the way the HVAC is set up. It wasn't a big deal to us. Word of caution on the skiing, nothing to do with the house... if you ski at Brighton until 3:30 on a Sunday, especially if there is fresh snow, it will be a nightmare drive home. We got in our car at the Brighton lot at 3:45 and didn't get back to the house (12 miles away) until 6:45. Sunday is the only day Brighton doesn't have night skiing so everyone, including the Solitude crowd who is ahead of you on the canyon road, is leaving at the same time.

This beautiful home is located perfectly between Brighton, Solitude, Alta and Snowbird resorts. All amenities available. An amazing view of the mountains and city. More than ample space for my family. Highly recommend this home.

Great place for a small group of skiers
Well-appointed throughout the house. Very clean and kitchen has everything you need. Short walk around the house to the hot tub but beautiful view when you get there. Iga does stay in the basement 'apartment' and is there to help with check in. Located very close to Big and Little canyons. Will stay there again.

Nice Accommodations
We were warmly greeted by the Property Manager. I was a bit surprised to learn that she would be living in basement apartment. I usually select “Entire House” when searching for a place to stay. (Maybe I missed that filter). We had a lot of space and used all of it. There were plenty of towels and paper products. The kitchenware was also well stocked. There were no condiments. Not really a problem for us though. There was a fireplace, but there was also a sign that said not to use it. The best part of the rental was the upstairs that had a lot of windows and beautiful views to the west and south. We were allotted 1 parking space in the garage, and when we had visitors, they had to park at the curb. The decor was very nice and it definitely felt like a home. It had also been thoroughly cleaned. The refrigerator was large and the stove/oven worked great. The dishwasher had some issues, but I didn’t say anything to the manager because I don’t mind washing dishes by hand. The foosball table provided competitive entertainment for us. We also used the workout equipment which was a nice feature for us. Overall, we will probably stay here again

Both Marzena (reservations) and Iga (property manager) were uber responsive and easy to work with. True professionals and very accommodating. The house was exactly as pictured and nothing was lacking... high-quality bed linens and nice, thoughtful touches throughout. I will definitely stay here again.

Will Use This Property If Available On All Trips To The SLC Area
The house was just as advertised. It has many separate areas where you can spend time and if in a large group, accommodate different activities at the same time. The property manager lives on site and does a great job keeping the house and very unique and beautiful grounds in excellent condition. I spent a lot of time on the deck working on my laptop, worked out on the home gym upstairs in the loft with a large screen TV for late night movie watching and a bit of time at the kitchen table looking out over the back deck to the valley and city of Salt Lake. Snowbird Ski Resort and other additional resorts are so close by it would have been impossible to now go visit them. Spent 6 hours at Snowbird just a short drive away. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors will enjoy this location because it is so convenient to a plethora of activities for all four seasons. Will recommend to friends and co-workers that will be visiting the SLC. A great place for just a few more dollars than a nice hotel in the area. I look forward to returning again and staying at this great property. Nearby grocery and food options for those that desire. I travel extensively and had no idea this area of the country was so beautiful and had the abundance of activities as it does. Communication was easy and immediate which is always a concern - but in this case it gave me confidence I made the right choice...and I did. Give this property a chance. It's great. Highly recommend!

Fantastic house close to civilization and ski resorts
I came here with my boyfriend and two of our friends on a ski trip to Snowbird and Alta in March 2018. This house was larger than we needed (we dawdled on booking so this was the best option for us) but still the price felt like a good deal considering it felt like a big luxurious mansion. This would comfortably accommodate four couples / 8 people who are okay sharing beds. The property manager, Iga, lives in an adjoining unit but seemed insistent that our noise wouldn't be an issue, which was reassuring. She was very responsive to our needs, for example when I asked if there was laundry detergent (I couldn't find any) she brought some over to us as quickly as she was able. The house itself was totally clean and well suited for vacation renters. There is a master bedroom, two bedrooms with queen size beds, and a cute/strange loft thing that has a bed shielded by a panel thing (but not an actual wall) along with a fitness machine and a pool table. Oh and there is a hot tub! Always nice during the winter/anytime. Would definitely return if we came back with more than 4 people :)

Best views, comfortable and recreational home away from home! Loved the family space and hot tub!
Nestled on a quiet street with amazing views from the master bedroom, deck off the kitchen and hot tub, this comfortable home had two separate family room areas, one with a pool table and foosball, exercise machine and TV, the other a relaxing room with fireplace and a TV where we relaxed at night to watch movies or worked there during the day. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen is great and we were close to shops and easy access to the ski resorts. The friendly house manager is close by if you need anything but gives you the privacy you seek on holiday. We will stay there again if we have the same size family. The pictures are not misleading at all and don’t do justice to the spectacular views. WiFi also worked well.

15 Minutes to both little or big cottonwood resorts. Plenty of dinning and supermarket options nearby. Home was in great condition with unbelievable views of SLC from the balcony and hot tub. Would highly recommend for a family and laid back ski vacation.

Fantastic stay!
We loved our stay in this great ski house in Cottonwood Heights! This was a great location for a few old college friends to get together for 4 days of skiing in the Cottonwoods. It's only 15-20 minutes away from Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude. The house was clean and beds were all very comfortable. Check-in and check out was also super easy/convenient. In fact no one was staying in the house the day after we were supposed to check out and the owners were nice enough to let us leave our bags there so we could get another day in on the slopes without having to leave all our stuff in the rental car. Super nice of them!! Will definitely try to stay here again next time we're in Salt Lake!

Great spot for a ski vacation!
we had a quick family reunion here in SLC and this property was perfect. 20 minutes to Alta and Snowbird! House was really nice, kitchen had everything we needed for home cooked meals, ample living space with game room upstairs and quiet area down stairs. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. We gladly reccomend and hope we can come back some time!
