Beautiful Beachfront View

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay in this unit with its beachfront views and easy beach access. The weather and surf were great. Parking was readily available with a pool and barbecue area. Communication was excellent with our host. We will be back!

The actual location of this unit offered the best views. The overall amenities included gave the space a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Very good choice

I was so pleased with the property. It was so quiet and had the best access and view. Considering we went down for july 4th, it was never crowded. The owners are very nice and understanding.

Great Beach Property

The penthouse property was all my family of four needed for our beach stay. You are less than a two minute walk to the beach. Your balcony is oceanfront. Property was clean! And had a beach decor throughout which was awesome. The only area of improvement was the pool was dirty and needed to be cleaned. It appeared that hadn’t been cleaned it sometime. With that said, the property was great. I would highly recommend.

Great getaway!

This vacation condo was perfect ! The close proximity to the beach was wonderful. The condo itself had everything you could ever need for a relaxing vacation. The pool and hot tub were easy to get to and everyone staying was so nice! We had a great time and hope to do It all again next year!

Excellent property in great location

The property location is great, right on the beach. We are glad we chose North Myrtle Beach compared to Myrtle Beach since the beach was not crowded and super clean. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed except we couldn’t find a pizza cutter…lol. The balcony was on the small side but had the best quality furniture. We had 4 adults for 4 nights but only 1 bath towel each. The 2nd bedroom would never get very cool and we had to buy a small fan which we left there. Both bedrooms did have ceiling fans though. The 2nd bath inside shower curtain had some small black molds spots that the cleaners need to hit with bleach. The pool was on the small side but clean and never crowded, almost like having a private pool. Overall a very nice experience.

First off I wanna start by saying place was very clean when we walked in, very well put together feels like home at the beach. We’re very much thinking about coming back! View was amazing, weather was perfect, and very peaceful. One of the best penthouses I’ve stayed in!

A Wonderful Week

The week was so nice! Carolina Reef is well placed in the area of North Myrtle Beach. The room was immaculate and full of things we needed for the week. I would definitely plan to stay again! The only issue was it seemed the second bedroom got warm and had a hard time cooling. Look forward to a return visit!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we had was the air would only turn down to 72 and we got warm in some nights and there is only enough linen for 1 shower. We reused the towels and went to the dollar general and bought enough wash cloths for the stay. Overall, we would stay here again. Just wish we have known about the air only going to 72 beforehand. I know that is a deal breaker for some folks. Owners were very cordial through email and we loved this part of the beach. Not crowded at all any day we were there.

Very nicely decorated & clean.

We very much enjoyed our week's stay in the condo. Small but comfortable, especially for just 2 people. The master bedroom's mattress was very comfortable. Unfortunately when we were there the dishwasher was broken & all dishes were washed in the small single sink. We "roughed it" & made due. The view from this corner condo was as promised. We couldn't locate a DVD or CD player as advertised...maybe we missed it? The selection of cable stations & In Demand movies was great. Should consider mentioning in the amenities that there is a blow driver so one doesn't have to packed. Owner called after we arrived to see if we settled in & needed anything which was considerate. We would stay here again!

Amazing views

I’ll start by saying we loved our stay because of the amazing location right on the beach. I did reach out a few weeks before our visit to set up a day/time to go out in the boat that is offered with the listing but never heard anything back which was disappointing. The boat shouldn’t be offered if it’s not really available. One of the reasons we booked here and were ok with paying more then other listings in the area was because of the boat so we feel like we didn’t get our moneys worth from this place. The condo is the top floor corner unit and away from everyone else which felt very private. There is a video camera on the balcony that is pointed toward the ocean/beach. It felt a little invasive as it could easily record us on the balcony and also records audio. I didn’t like the feeling of being watched every time I was out there but we learned to ignore it. Our first impression was that the building was dated and when you first walk into the condo it has a smell of being a smokers home at one point. It goes away when you are in the condo but it’s there every time you walk out and come back in. The condo itself was clean and had everything we could need for the week. The decor was beautiful and the linens were vibrant and clean. The bed sounded like it was broken every time we sat/laid down but it was super comfortable and we slept well. We cooked and ate our meals at the condo. All the dishes/pans that we could need were provided which was nice. We did run out of trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels so be prepared to provide those when you go. The internet and tvs worked well. There was a closet with a few buckets, shovels, boogie boards, kite and beach games to use. The beach access is right on the property so we could go down and be set up in 5 minutes. It was never busy right in front of our condo but if you looked down either side where the hotels on the beach are it was packed so we were really happy to have a low traffic quieter area. The pool is on the small side but there was always enough space for our family of 4 when we went. The hot tub is amazingly hot and big with jacuzzi bubbles. The condo has a water hose for spraying off the sand from the beach and provides carts to haul your things from your car to the condo which really came in handy for groceries and luggage. There are many stores, restaurants and entertainment near by. Overall we would recommend staying here just be warned about the boat.
