Our home is located in Uvalde a small community full of shade trees and a hometown environment. There’s plenty of restaurants , shops and parks that are walking distance . We also have rivers near by like the Fio and Nueces river that you can enjoy . We are just a short drive from Garner State Park , Chaulk Bluff . Amistad lake is a short distance from us if you are interested in fishing or just going water skiing .Come visit us in Uvalde the City of shade trees

Christmas visit

We traveled from Denver, CO to spend Christmas week visiting family and friends. The house is in a nice neighborhood and everything in town is less than 5 minutes away. The 3/2 home was clean and accommodating for our family of 5. We’d stay here again.

Awesome Place and Close to Everything

This property was even better than the pictures show. We came in for a bbq competition and needed a place to sleep and this place was perfect. Each of us were able to have our own bed and Alma was great in communicating everything both before and after. Would definitely recommend staying here or one of the other house Alma has in the Uvalde area.

Wonderful stay

This house really is so cozy and relaxing. It’s very clean and has everything you need. We loved the swing and has a nice backyard with a grill and seating. Our family enjoyed it a lot.

Worth it!

Since it’s a new listing we got a reduced stay rate. I personally wouldn’t pay full price for it but it was still a beautiful house. Location was nice but the backyard fencing was unfinished leaving a hole to the street, there was a bullet hole in the master bedroom window (after messaging the host I got an answer 2 days after checkout saying it was there before we arrived and they were aware), there were personal items and clothing in some of the drawers, and master bathroom toilet had a consistent leak. If you’re going for the Frio River wait until Texas is out of a drought, it’s very very dry. Also had some stains on the sheets, but overall it was a great stay. It was roomy enough for our party and had a cute interior. Beware of low hanging light fixtures and ceilings (we had 3 6 feet tall men with us) Amazing front and back porch with patio furniture and a beautiful big porch swing. Uvalde was a a new location for us and it worth the trip!
