As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a comfortable and inviting space. The studio features a luxurious king-size bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the island. The kitchenette has a stovetop featuring 2 burners, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a full-size refrigerator with a freezer, allowing you to prepare your meals or store your favorite snacks and beverages.

One of the highlights of this studio is the spacious balcony, where you can soak up the warm Hawaiian sun and take in the relaxed city view. It's the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine.

In addition to its prime location and modern amenities, the Island Colony offers a range of fantastic facilities for you to enjoy during your stay. Take a dip in the sparkling swimming pool, relax in the hot tub, or work up a sweat in the fitness center. All linens and towels, including beach towels, are provided. You also have easy access to laundry facilities located on the 6th floor (coin and credit-card-operated).

Parking in the building for $35 per day (price is subject to change), open-air lobby, ATM, trash chutes on every floor, 24-hour security, and car/scooter/bicycle rentals on the ground floor of the building.

- There is also a car rental company located on the 1st floor.

Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we’re unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you’d like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we’d suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. 

HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it’s about a 20-minute ride – Prices are around $45 depending on traffic. Follow the signs to the taxi area upon arrival.

CHECKOUT CLEANING: 
The cleaning fee includes professional cleaning with sanitization of the unit; professional laundry of linens and towels with high temperature (180F) and restocking of amenities after each departure.
There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

STARTER SUPPLIES: 
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. 
Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival. 

LINENS & TOWELS: 
We provide one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. The bed is equipped with a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a blanket.

LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There is a laundry room on the 6th floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit.

TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor.

Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses as well. Great location

The location of this property is great - super walkable to many things, including from Acai bowls to speakeasy cocktail bars. Can be at the beach in less than 20 and Target is two blocks away. The property management was very communicative and easy to talk to/get ahold of. The onsite staff were also very accommodating. We had no issues with check-in or out and pre-check-in instructions were very clear. The unit itself is not very high up in the building and is quite noisy from street traffic as Ala Wai is a very busy street with motorcycles ripping down it at all hours of the night. The windows are old glass slats and didn't offer much for sound proofing. My partner slept with earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones on. Not the management's fault and this might not bother some but if you are looking for a super quiet night sleep this might not be the unit for you. Consider choosing a unit that is higher up in the building so you can get away from the road noise. The unit is very nicely staged in the photos but was not quite how it appeared upon arrival. The bed is fairly comfortable, pillows a little thin but had everything one could need for a short stay.

Great location for your vacation

This location was as listed and was in a great walking distance to all the shopping, food and attractions areas. We would like to say the building security (Justin) was outstanding and they help to give directions and suggestions on local amenities nearby this location. We would definitely stay at this location in the future.

Quaint Little Studio

Favorite part of the studio was the balcony, 2 reclining chairs overlooking the cityscape and mountain range. Overall, it was a perfect place for my boyfriend and I while in Waikiki.
