Good but then Disappointed
We arrived at the house to find it hadn't been cleaned after the last guest. I contacted the owner, who quickly responded and put me in contact with her assistant. He was very responsive and stated that a "glitch in the app" had shown us checked in the prior day and that was the reason it hadn't been cleaned. He stated a cleaning crew could come at 7 pm which I requested they come. at that time, he offered to return my cleaning fee. I started a load of towels, as there were no clean towels and washed a couple of dishes that were left . We left to go eat & returned just before 8 pm and the cleaning crew had not shown up but did later. The girl finished cleaning at 9:40 pm. My DIL cleaned the master bath room so she could bathe her daughter. I spoke with the assistant and was told I would be refunded one nights stay due to the inconvenience. When our stay was over, we left before 6:30 am. I was contacted 2 days later saying we left the water hose on. We never used the water hose as there was no need for it. We left the house and were floating the river and sightseeing and didn't return until late that evening. This was explained to him as well as I told him about the 2 utility trucks that were on the side street. Host left a message saying we left the water hose on which resulted in a high bill. I can only assume this was said as to not issue the refund. Guests beware, you can be blamed for something you didn't do.
