The Guesthouse in Troo
First impressions can be mistaken, my foster son thought the neighborhood was ‘worrisome’, but turned out very nice! The host,Frank, met us in the parking garage next door and made sure we knew how to open all the doors as well as use everything in the apartment. The view was WONDERFUL- right across from the water, with a great breeze blowing thru. The rooms were large, clean and well furnished, it had everything you might need, and then some- nice touches. Frank is right down stairs, if there’s any problem, & he provides a map of Troy with lots of recommendations, thank you! There are 2 nice bedrooms with doubles in each, a set of trundles in the hall and my son will tell you the LR sofa was very comfy, all linens were new and very soft! Shower was
very nice, hot water, great pressure, & the towels were fluffy! Kitchen well stocked, but we ate out, walking thru the town without a problem. We’ll stay again if we get over-definitely! Just a heads up- it is on the 3rd floor- no elevator-of a fairly busy street, but turn on the AC & noise goes away- but then you’ll miss the wonderful breeze & fresh air! Thank you,Frank!
