Spacious but not Luxurious - Needs Some Attention
Great location/Central for DFW vacation. Beds were comfy.A new code was needed for access. Instructions on how the lock auto works would be helpfulThe house is very spacious but quirky. Light switches everywhere but confusing and should be labeled. Missing light bulbs in lamps. Garage light randomly comes on. The furniture is not in great shape (broken chair and stained cushions) There is an attic area that needs to be secured.We arrived to no towels in the rooms, finally found them in the dryer (mismatched low-end) but they were not clean. Suppose to sleep 14-we barely had enough for 4. We bought detergent and rewashed the bedding and towels our first night. It was poorly vacuumed finding random items throughout the home.There were no supplies (dish/laundry soap, trash bags, toilet paper), no water in the fridge, wine and snacks not provided as promised. The refrigerator/oven had spills that needed to be cleaned. The kitchen is poorly stocked with low end pans and utensils. We missed having no toaster or hair dryer. Outside area was not clean nor welcoming. Garbage was overflowing. Old pool toys tossed around. Sitting area was covered in debris. Pool lights burnt out. Leaves floating in pool.Manager was responsive to emails but the issues were never fully resolved. Anticipated supplies daily but never received them and the garbage only made it as far as the curb. The manager did give us a partial refund for our inconvenience. Spacious yes, Luxury it is not.
