Newly renovated charming Beach Cottage!
While many people come for the fantastic beaches, there are even more things to do in Oak Island. We’ve fallen in love with this town by the North Carolina-South Carolina border and want to share this wonderful place with you.

We are just steps away from the sand, beautiful balcony view of the Atlantic equipped with everything you'll need to have an unforgettable vacation on beautiful Oak Island NC.
Newly renovated with new deck, stairs, flooring, kitchen and fresh paint.

Nearby attractions from end to end (including Oak Island Lighthouse), grocery stores, restaurants and shops nearby. Oak Island is approximately 13 miles long, with an average of about 1 mile wide. It is about 19 square miles.

There is the Oak Island Sea Turtle Protection Program that monitors and protects sea turtles who visit and nest on the Oak Island beach strand. Work closely with biologists from the NCWRC to ensure that the Commission’s guidelines and regulations are followed.

Perfect location!

The cottage is just across the street from the ocean. It is nicely furnished and has everything you need for the perfect vacation. We enjoyed seeing the ocean while having our morning coffee on the porch. We will definitely return!

R& R specialty

A perfect location for ocean access and views. My daughter and I and her 3 children stayed at The Little Sailor for 2 weeks and it was perfect for us. Nice kitchen with pantry , sleeping accommodations for all and a bonus outside shower. Even had amazon delivery made in 2 days!

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and beach access. My dog, Luna, loved the closed in deck and we enjoyed the outdoor shower. It was a little bit too warm for us at night (71 degrees on the thermostat) but the ceiling fans helped. Overall a great vacation and they had a nice kitchen set up. There is a regular coffee brewer now as well.

Sweet and peaceful

The cottage is in a great location- residential and with a view of the ocean. It was so clean, simple and open for cooking and conversation. The outdoor shower was newly constructed, private and spacious. It was nice to have beach chairs and a wagon to bring down to the beach. The binder of information with restaurants, pet supply needs and even medical care information was very helpful.

The little sailor

Very close to the beach, with access across the road. The house was just bought at the start of our trip, and she had some issues with a leaking hot water tank, so she had done many new updates.

You can tell the owners are trying to spruce it up to be sold. However in the parts that have not been updated it’s a bit dated and dusty
