Welcome to this 113 year old 3-story house that has been fully remodeled with 4 bedroom (2 main suits), and 3.5 bathroom in the Southern Orchards area of Columbus, Ohio. Our house can accommodate up to 9 guests with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 twin-over-full bunk bed, and 1 twin bed with trundle. Enjoy your morning coffee on the expansive covered front porch, or enjoy an evening backyard barbeque in the fenced backyard with a covered porch. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for your home cooked meal. There is ample seating with 4 bar stools at the kitchen island and the 6 person dining table to enjoy your meals. Take time for yourself in the dedicated yoga/meditation nook located in the third floor main bedroom. Enjoy fine dining and shopping in the quaint city of Bexley, the historic German Village, East Market (Trolly District), Short North and many other close by restaurants and shops. Our house is only 1 minute drive to Nationwide Children's Hospital, 5 minutes to downtown, 6 minutes to Franklin Park Botanical Gardens, 12 minutes to OSU Main Hospital, 15 minutes to Easton Town Center, 10 minutes to John Glen International Airport (CMH), 20 minutes to Polaris Mall.

Loved it!

The property looked great just like the pictures on the website. The area was okay. Could maybe use 2 more TV’s in two of the bedrooms. I have college students and not enough to go around. And the Attic bedroom is really nice but could use a ceiling fan.

Girls weekend

We had a fun weekend in Columbus! It was close to the Franklin conservatory and the open floor plan made it so that weather you were in the kitchen or living room everyone was able to talk and relax together!

This is a very well maintained house. It is very clean and comfortable. The rest of the neighborhood is a little run down, but that is to be expected with a house so close to downtown. We were a group of seven women and none of us were worried for our safety. This host is very helpful and considerate of his guests.

Wonderful house

Overall, a very nice house. All updated. Floors were fairly dirty upon check in. Tons of space. Nice beds. Biggest complaint is its in a fairly rough neighborhood. Car alarms going off all night. Corner store felt very unsafe.

Great House, Awful Location

The positives: Great interior Very spacy Clean Master bedroom on top floor was great for our 9 year old to get away from his brothers! The bad: Probably should have googled the neighborhood, but it was not good. Did not feel safe - to the point we sat outside the home for about 10 minutes debating to go in or just leave and get a hotel. Also I thought we were right near the zoo and caverns, both were about a 25 minute ride away. Could have probably done more research to see these two problems first, but next time we will stay closer to Powell. Now we know. If you are just going to sleep at the house, and stay inside, it worked well. I did not feel comfortable taking my wife or any of my kids outside in this area though, so just know the neighborhood.

Family vacation stay

We stayed here with our four children (ages 11-4 years old) and the house for our needs perfectly. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The house was very clean. The lock was easy to use. The neighborhood is up and coming. All in all a good stay.

Southern Orchards Columbus

We stayed 2 nights passing through Ohio. We had 5 adults and 2 kids with a pet and there was lots of room for everyone to have their own room. The home was beautiful, exactly as listed and had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

A great home for families

The home is what we were looking for. Open floor concept and plenty of bedrooms for our kids. We were able to cook a family dinner and enjoy time with our family at the same time. The home was very clean and had PLENTY of towels for our family of 6. Looking forward to another stay.

The home is exactly as advertised and stocked with everything that you would need. It was exceptionally clean and very spacious. The space worked well for 5 adults for a 3 day stay.

Really nice house, neighborhood is not as nice

Very nice house, just as shown. Very clean. Steps to 3rd floor are steep. Communication with owner was great. Alarm system simple and easy. The neighborhood homes are mostly not as nice as this one. Overall we had a very nice stay and would stay again!

Nice house

We were visiting our daughter/sister who goes to OSU. I somehow thought it was closer to school (my mistake). still, the house was lovely and very clean. Easy to get into and to lock. Communication was great with owner. Very comfortable and charming house. Thank you!

Amazing Space!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The open concept of the downstairs really allowed us to spend time together! Street parking was always available as well as parking in the back. Communication with the host was great- we even extended our stay. Super clean as well!!
