Upon opening the door, we were greeted by a warm, sunny living room with breath taking views of the mountains. The recliners and the propane fireplace offered a cozy space to read, visit, or just enjoy the view. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of fluffy white towels. The kitchen was well appointed right down to the martini shaker. The attention to every detail was so appreciated and made for a memorable stay. Thank you for sharing your special place.
This was the second time that I stayed in the house during the month of February. The house is super comfortable with an amazing view. It’s also thoughtfully decorated which gave it a fun and relaxing vibe. The kitchen is well appointed. The proximity to Sunday River and Mt Abrams makes it a convenient ski house. We also traveled to Sugarloaf. We appreciated being able to bring our dog.
Altitude ajustment is a beautiful home with breathtaking views. Our family enjoyed our stay to the fullest! Beautiful sunsets and amazing starry nights, shooting stars galore! Kara was also an excellent host, quick to respond to any questions, even with mother nature making an unexpected appearance, she made sure we were taken care of! We will definitely be back!
This was a fantastic cabin for our family of five adults to get away for a 5 night August trip to Maine. Cool evenings on the deck! Close to lots of things to do. We had fun hiking, kayaking, antique-ing, and we even had time for a day in Portland. Stay here if you want to see amazing sunsets and enjoy late night star gazing. We hope our travels bring us this way again! If they ever do we will try to stay here!
The house is beautiful just the way the pictures are shown. Waking up to the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. The backyard had so much land my children ran around for hours. The wood fire pit was perfect to keep the bug's away. The bed's were so cozy and comfortable. The gas fire pit on the deck didnt work. The heat was on the entire time of our stay she did have fans in the rooms we had to put the fans in the window to cool down. One night it was so hot we couldnt sleep. She did send a technician to the house a day before we left. That didnt fix the problem the heat then went off and came back on at nignt. We also had a little problem with Ants inside the house. Other than that this house is the perfect get away.
