Beautiful Property

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful home and property. The cleanest stay we’ve ever had for sure. We loved seeing the cows every day and the hosts were lovely and quick to answer any questions. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect, relaxing stay

This was the tail end of our anniversary trip & it was perfect. The location was quiet & serene with fantastic views of the stars. The bed was comfy & we received cookies upon arrival. A great place to rest & recharge! Close to Mackinaw & the headlands as well.

Such an adorable farm house! The inside was so well decorated, made me want to be a farmer. Loved walking outside with my cup of coffee and being greeted by the cows 🐄 The house was a little further out then we expected. We did find a little restaurant a couple miles down the road that served a great fresh catch of the day dinner.

Dark Skies

Great place to stay for viewing the night sky and telescope imaging. Convenient for day trips to Mackinaw City and across the bridge. Wonderful hosts.

Anniversary get away

We came for a quiet get away for our anniversary and that is what we got. With some adventures into the city and to the island, this definitely felt like home away from home. From the fresh baked cookies when we arrived to the cleanliness of the house. Id definitely recommend R&R Farmhouse for your stay.

Great place

A bit out of the way but we loved the quiet country charm. Road in was a somewhat rough but no more than expected for a rural northern country road. A turn of the century house that has bee updated enough but not too much.

Quick trip to Northern Michigan

Thank you for a wonderful summer stay. As Floridians originally from Central Illinois, we loved being back on a Midwest farm (and with the bonus of homemade cookies there for us on arrival). Would absolutely stay again.

What a nice get a way from it all, but not far from Mackinaw. It was so quiet and peacful and had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommed this property.

The farmhouse is exactly as expected from the pictures. We wanted a peaceful and relaxing stay and the hosts delivered! Everything from the details in decor, to the cows in the pasture, to the inviting plate cookies awaiting our arrival! We will stay again!

Escape off the beaten path

Absolute respite for a hectic schedule, traveling and found this gem that is so special, and quaint, you must go there to experience it. Only 15 minutes away from mackinaw city,quiet,solitude and stars at night will leave you planning for your next return trip.

Photographic Farmhouse

We stayed for one evening to photograph the Northern Lights and Milky Way. The Farmhouse was perfect! Wonderful unobstructed view of the northern sky and a barn in the foreground for the Milky Way pics. The Farmhouse was as described, very comfortable and clean and the cookies were an appreciated and loved bonus! Excellent spot in northern Michigan. We hope to return the next time the auroa borealis fires up

Cozy getaway

Loved the house and everything about the stay. It was perfect for me and my significant other. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the quiet. It was absolutely perfect. Had a lovely card and chocolate chip cookies that were left for us. Super friendly host and super sweet. Everything was perfect.

Restful and lovely!

We did a small girls’ getaway at this lovely farmhouse. It was comfortable, clean, and so well appointed. The decorating was done so tastefully with an eye for detail. We appreciated the delicious cookies and basic cooking and coffee supplies. The queen bed was exceptionally comfortable. If you want a beautiful and peaceful spot, I highly recommend this sweet farmhouse!
