Deanna is such an Amazing host! She was extremely helpful with accommodating my friends & family when the roads were really bad from the 15 inches of snow. The house was very clean, and stocked well. We had a great time! I don’t have any complaints. I’ll definitely keep the host information for future trips to Broken Bow!
We had the best time! The house has everything you need and more! Communication was excellent! I don’t want to highly recommend because I want the home to myslef, ha, but I highly recommend! The home will not disappoint!
Stayed many places in Broken Bow, but this cabin is on another level. It rained during most of our stay but we never got bored because there is so much to do inside the cabin itself. Finish out is top notch and is well equipped and maintained. Will book this place again.
I had a group of 5 families with kids (21 people total I think) and we had a wonderful stay and plenty of space at this gorgeous “cabin”. Everyone has space to play and spread out and plenty of beds. They really thought of everything a group this size might need and the home was beautifully appointed and ready for us. We had a wonderful stay and I absolutely would rent it again! Thank you for sharing this gorgeous home with us!
We had wonderful and memorable stay! The lodge is very clean and has a fresh feeling compared to some of our other previous stays. Host Deanna was patient and responsive to all our queries . We had a smooth checkin and did not face any issue while staying. Everything has been taken care of in the cabin. We would definitely considering returning to this cabin in future!
The property is gorgeous. A lot of planning went in to making this home a cut above. Plenty of space inside and out. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. We saw a raccoon one evening. The road to get there is a little challenging as it is steep in places. Would definitely go back again.
Check in time was a little later than what we usually encounter, 5pm vs 4pm.
Check out time was earlier than what we usually encounter, which did cause us some anxiety. 10am is pretty early to leave from a resort type property.
These times were our only issues!!
The Golden Embers Lodge did not disappoint. From the moment we turned off the highway to wind our way to the lodge our weekend getaway was outstanding and memorable. Yes the road is hilly and twisty, but the views are beautiful, and it lends to the feeling of adventure. I drove my brand new Hyundai Sonata, and took it slow and careful, but had absolutely zero problems getting to the cabin and back out again. The home is stunning. Soaring vaulted ceilings, gorgeous views of the beautiful southeast Oklahoma landscape, comfortable furnishings and beds, relaxing soaking tubs, accommodations for every member of our family, spaces to come together with plenty of seclusion when we needed a nap are just a few of the features at Golden Embers. The well-equipped kitchen (2 dishwashers!) and spacious laundry room was very convenient and appreciated. The fireplaces on the two spacious decks, and immaculate hot tubs were wonderful. The house was squeaky clean, in fact. And our host was attentive and quick to respond. We were a party of 7. Obviously this home could comfortably accommodate many more. But the women in our family wanted a weekend to get away from responsibilities, and to reconnect and strengthen our relationships. We had ample room, seclusion, togetherness, WiFi, and everything else we needed to make our weekend one to remember. Without reservation I would say this was the best place we’ve ever rented for our “Hen House Weekend” ever! Thanks!
Golden Embers was perfect for the 11 of us. We came in from Houston, Dallas and Phoenix ranging from 18-81.
The home was conveniently located, wonderfully appointed and everything in the home functioned as it should. From the kitchen to the surround sound, to both hot tubs.
Communication with the host was seamless and we all had a fantastic time. The only thing anyone had issue with is the drive in off 259. You need to take it very slow or have an SUV with some ground clearance. This is no fault of the host and should not reflect on the property itself. Had a ln absolutely great time. Deanna, thank you again.
Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and remote cabin in Broken Bow. The hosts were very accommodating and the cabin has great attention to detail on every level. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning. I would advise if you have a normal sedan car, may be tricky to navigate driveway as it has a lot rocks and one of the cars had to be pushed to get them up the hill despite the pebbles, but we made it work! Would be lovely have have check out at 11 am instead of 10am, as well so guests don't feel rushed in the morning to clean and leave. But I understand the house is big and would take a while to clean.. But other than that its a perfect getaway!
