About this property

No better view on Amelia Island Plantation located in the Beach Walker community. This villa overlooks the Beach Walker pool and the ocean. The Beach Walker pool has recently been completely renovated and is absolutely gorgeous. The villa has Italian tile floors throughout. The wall colors are warm and rich and covered with original, decorative, photography and artwork by well known artists, including Clyde Butcher, Carl Brenders and Steve Johnson.

The backside bedrooms each have a private balcony overlooking the island treetops and the Amelia River and have a wonderful view of the setting sun. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two twin beds. These bedrooms have a common full bath. The master bedroom has a king bed, private bath and has a beautiful view of the ocean.

The kitchen has been totally renovated. It is open and spacious and has Frigidaire appliances, including side by side fridge and convection oven with a flat top range. The ocean can be viewed from the kitchen, dining and living areas. There is a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean off the living area.

As with all Beach Walker Villas, this villa has multiple floors and some stairs. May not be appropriate for guests with mobility challenges.

You and your family will enjoy the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the island, yet have all food, golf, and entertainment amenities.

Summer rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

Looks can be deceiving

The property although older appeared clean through out.The views were awesome. But once we started to settle in there were some issues. A/C condensation pipe was clogged ( an issue the owner was aware of possibility) He asked that we bail the accumulation of rusty water from the overflow pan- 5 gal worth! To get the A/C to come on. Opening a kitchen cabinet I saw a roach and saw several more over the course of my stay. The dining room seat cushions were badly stained. There was sour smell on sheets and towels in both king rooms - had to re- wash before bedtime. TV remote batteries had to be replaced. Microwave only worked part of the time. Shower faucet needed adjustment to make it work. I reached out to the owner after I got home and asked for a refund for 1 nights stay and after 72 hours have not heard from him. Great property & location

We had a great vacation. The property itself was nicely decorated and had plenty of space for our party of 6. The beach equipment and bikes served us well. The balcony view was beautiful and caught the ocean breezes. The access to the beach was easy and the pool was beautiful. I would highly recommend this property and a vacation on Amelia Island.

Great Time

We had a great time at this location. We had stayed at ship watch and sand castle previously and this was the best location. Closest to beach and nice pool. The room were nicely furnished and beds very comfortable.

Beach Walker Villas

We were a group of 3 adults and 3 children. The unit was lovely - nicely furnished and decorated - a true home away from home. The 3 levels of the unit and the 3 balconies gave everyone in our group an ability to be together but to also have privacy. The kids loved the freedom of being able to walk to the pool and the beach. The beach was incredible and the boardwalk gave the kids a chance to see rabbits and turtles. We brough childrens bikes with us and they were well used on the bike trails throughout the complex. We all had a lovely time and will definitely be back.

Perfect getaway!

The condo is located on the south end of the island therefore it is quiet, little traffic and we had the beach basically to ourselves. The timing was perfect if you are looking for a relaxing time without the hassle of crowds.

Great location and billa

The Villa was just as advertised. We have stayed at the Omni many times over the years, and this was our first time in this set of villas. Location to the pool and ocean couldn't be better! The Villa was well appointed and perfect for what our family of 6 needed. James was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.

The best Golf Getaway!

The condo was wonderful. Just like it was pictured and our VRBO host James was also wonderful. Contacted us ahead of our arrival. Provided info on golf courses and restaurants. RETURN VISIT ------- STILL GREAT

We have two grandchildren 9 & 7. We love it here --- great location --- bedrooms are set up perfectly for our family. Extra boogie boards and chairs were great. Kitchen all set up with everything you need. Pool is fantastic and beautiful --- beach and waves were great too. We will be back I am sure of it!!! Thanks, James!

Nice Getaway Beachfront Condo

Loved the location on the beach and the community is very nice and safe. The condo is spacious with 3 rooms and two bathrooms. Nice balcony to watch the ocean in the morning. Easy check in and check out process. Would stay there again!

Girls weekend

Everything we needed was right there… property gorgeous and peaceful. The first night the AC wasn’t working and James immediately was on it. Very appreciated. Kitchen well stocked.. beds very comfortable and clean. Easy check in and out instructions. And what a gorgeous view!!

Family Getaway

We had an issue upon arrival that James was quick to respond and get fixed.James was great to work with and very responsive. The condo was nice and as advertised. The location was ideal as was close to the pool and short boardwalk to the beach. The ocean views from the condo unit were amazing. My husband and boys were excited to see the huge tv upon arrival for watching the ga football game. The only downside being lack of parking. We had 2 cars with 2 designated drivers for gate check in. The unit had one guaranteed covered spot and found out later any others are a free for all. My husband was less than happy to miss first part of ga game as he had to drive around for 30 minutes one night looking for a spot to open up. Cars were parked in the roadway and making spots that weren’t meant for parking so parking wasn’t monitored. Overall great unit, awesome location, and we had a wonderful stay. Julie

Multi Level condo

This is a 4 level condo and anyone with mobility issues should not book this property. This information is not in the owner provided description. The "back bedrooms" are actually on a lower level and the master is on a level even lower. There is not bathroom on the main living level. The condo isn't cleaned well and they even have a note on the refrigerator saying they don't deep clean between renters. There is mold and dust everywhere and I even had an empty water bottle left in one of the bedrooms. I questioned the owner about the lack of multi-level description and he told me I hadn't let him know I had a person traveling with me with mobility issues and one of the 26 photos showed a tiny bit of stairs in the right side of the image. I had not noticed that. The view is lovely but the condo was not cleaned to my satisfaction or what I am used to as a frequent VRBO user and I definitely was disappointed with all the levels. I travel with my 86 yr old Aunt and it was a struggle to get her up and down the stairs. I only needed an acknowledgement from the owner that he needs to edit his description of the unit to include this information and basically he told me it was my fault because I didn't ask. Lesson learned, I will ask her forward but I will not be returning to this unit.

Summer vacation

Beautiful condo with an excellent view. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Beach chairs and two bikes were available for our use. James was very attentive to any issues or questions we had about the condo and the surrounding area. Our family had a great and relaxing time.

Great Week

The property was exactly as it appears in the photos. We found the beds to be very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the view fantastic. When you first enter the unit there is a large laundry room immediately off the foyer with two beach cruisers and a nice washer and dryer. There is also a smaller closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and even beach towels. The unit is just a few steps from the elevator which made moving in and out very easy. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and included a refrigerator with an ice-maker. There were both Keurig and drip coffee makers.The bedrooms had very comfortable beds with good linen. The pool was very nice and only a short walk from the unit. The ocean is a short walk past the pool. Nearly everyday we saw many land tortoises and rabbits. The beach and pool were never crowded. The unit is close to shopping and a grocery store. Thanks to Jim for being a great host!

My wife and I are avid golfers and beach lovers. We have enjoyed Amelia Island, Florida because of the many wonderful golf courses not only there on the plantation but within easy driving distance.

Why they chose this property

We chose the area because of the natural assets, as well as the amenities available and the easy access from our full time residence in Georgia.

What makes this property unique

The beach here is wonderful for hunting shells and sharks teeth. Amelia Island Plantation is well known for its preservation of the natural setting. Amelia Island State Park adjoins the Plantation and provides a large undeveloped area for the beach walker to explore. We have regularly seen bald eagles, osprey, roseate spoonbills, wood storks, to name just a few of the bird species present in large numbers at the resort. We have enjoyed schools of dolphin feeding from our living and dining room areas. Walking and biking trails are abundant throughout the resort. There is an indian burial mound on the marsh side of the island on one of the walking trails. Amelia Island Plantation is truly a nature lover's destination.
