About this property
Amazing Beachfront & Marsh Views, Rye, NH
About this space
Directly across the street from Foss Beach, with wonderful tidal pools; shifting sands alter the beach from smooth to pebbly constantly.
From the front of our home, enjoy beautiful sunrises, moonrises, and the ever-changing ocean toward the Isles of Shoals. The Awcomin Marsh behind our home has a clear, calm view during the day, and sunsets at dusk.
Our open and bright home has natural light and central air conditioning for those hot summer days; spaces to congregate and spaces for privacy.
The space
Start your day with a cup of coffee on our upper deck to watch the amazing sunrises, or in our cozy first floor enclosed sunporch. Perhaps go for a morning stroll or just read a book before heading to the beach across the street. Explore the quiet beaches or enjoy summertime activities on a warm day; ride a bike, walk, run, play a round of golf, kayak, paddle board, surf or fish for stripers on the jetties at Rye Harbor or surf cast on the beach. There are many boat excursions from Rye Harbor, .5 mile south. For those who prefer shopping or dining, Portsmouth is 7.5 miles north and Kittery outlets are 13 miles north.
• French doors off the livingroom open to the sunporch, surrounded by windows - the perfect spot for enjoying a morning cup of coffee, reading a book, watching the sunrise or sitting down for dinner
• Living room has a 42” flatscreen TV and a gas log
• Large, well-equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, gas range with grill and bar top make this room a busy area with views to the ocean and marsh
• Rear 16’x16’ deck off the kitchen with a gas grill
• Half-bath off the kitchen
• Three bedrooms, a sitting room, washer and dryer and a full bathroom with tub/shower are on the second floor. Bedroom one with a queen bed and an adjoining sitting room with a twin daybed are at the front of the house with views to the ocean. Bedroom two, with a queen and bedroom three with two sets of bunks at the rear of our home have views to the marsh.
• Directly off the sitting room is an outside open deck. Wake to the sunrise, go down for your morning coffee and sit on the first floor sunporch or top deck to view the sunrise near the Isles of Shoals
• Basement family room (Kid Cave) has wetbar, futon, table and chairs for crafts and games, a couch and chairs around a TV. There’s a bathroom with walk-in shower and a slider leading out under the back deck.
• Large outdoor shower under the back deck with hot and cold water
