Place was exactly what we needed. Clean, easy in and out process. The outdoor spaces were a bit rough however and the hot tub was half full and did not appear operational.
Overall, the house was as listed. Unfortunately, the previous guests had left chips and Cheetos scattered throughout the property. The most unsettling was the bloodstain on the bedsheets of the master bedroom, so we slept in the other bedroom.House was very nice, location is convenient to the city
Comfortable bed, nice living room, awkward water situation
Overall the communication with the property manager was great! They were proactive about check-in and gave ways for us to contact them with problems. TV/Netflix worked, location was close to a Publix, which I appreciated. The hot tub wouldn't go warmer than 88 degrees for us (which isn't particularly hot) and the shower's hot knob spins 360 degrees and only works for a part of it (we had to do some weird reverse-engineering to figure out how to get hot water out, and that didn't go very hot either).I appreciate the property was clean and pet-friendly, but it did leave a bit to be desired.
We were getting together to chat and catch up and the house was great for that. My dog liked exploring the backyard and walks around the neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. Allen provided all the information needed prior to check in and it was a breeze.
The hosts were AMAZING and helped me with booking when I was confused with using VRBO app for the first time. Their house is so cozy and cute!!! 10/10 recommend for anyone needing to stay out of town for work.
Charlotte was the midway point on our trip. House is in a nice, quiet neighborhood--perfect for unwinding after travelling all day. House is comfortable, plenty of room, everything in the house worked as it should. Given the opportunity, would stay there again.
Property manager was understanding when we had to bring our dog, even though it was late notice, he also allowed us to check in early. With that being said, when we walked around the house, we noticed the bed was not made, the sheets were dirty, and there were damp towels hanging up next to shower..

Needs updating and photos of external structure on listing
First, we needed a location near our daughter's friend's place. This came up as being only .5 miles away! We looked at Google Maps and saw many high-end stores within walking distance, like West Elm, and saw many high-end housing in the area, so we reserved this place without reading all 34 reviews. So, this was on us that we didn't do more research. The cozy farmhouse can also be defined in many ways, and I admit my definition turned out to be very different. For reference, my definition aligns more with Chip and Joanna Gaines - updated, fresh, sturdy, modern. Driving into the neighborhood, we were excited to see what the place would be like as there were so many new construction homes in the area that matched my lens of what a cozy farmhouse meant. However, this was not to be. The location is delightful, but the house itself is run down and looks like the original house compared to others in the neighborhood, along with the house to the right of this listing. Both sides of the house look uneven, as if the foundation is sinking. The stairs are worn down and need sanding or a complete overhaul. Inside does match the photos, but the blinds/outlet cvr are broken, the side door was unlocked when we arrived, and the backyard is overgrown; the jacuzzi was half open with a green hand towel or something similar floating inside. The firepit looked old and overgrown, and the LR ceiling was also bowed. I wish I could have given this place higher marks as the area holds much promise.

Okay stay for a weekend
My friends and I stayed at this property for about 2 days. Here are the pros and cons we found
Pros
- Location- The property was located in a very nice neighborhood, super close to shopping, downtown and all of our activities.
- Price- Decent pricing for the location.
- Convenience- The check-in process was great and without any hassle.
Cons
- Cleanliness- My friends and I found multiple stains on the sheets and mattresses! We washed everything before we felt comfortable using them. We also sighted a few roaches in the bathroom and pretty much wiped down the entire bathroom before using.
The property was okay because we were just there to sleep and did not stay for a long time. I was absolutely fine with the house being outdated, but the state of cleanliness of the house is concerning.
Check in process was very easy. Inside was clean with comfortable beds. Only complaints were shower curtain liner was a little moldy and the grass needed mowing out back. I would still recommend though.
