Welcome to Haven on Nolin Lake | Mammoth Caves National Park. This beautiful cozy Cabin with Hot Tub is nestled in trees, on a bluff overlooking Nolin Lake. The Cabin is 2 minutes away from Wax Marina giving access to lake, boat/Jet Ski/kayak rentals for a day on the lake for fishing, Swimming and just under 30min driving distance to Mammoth Cave giving easy access to Hiking Trials, Cave Tours, Horseback riding.

This log cabin Sleeps 10 guests, has 6 beds that include 3 Queen beds, living room sofa turning into Queen Bed, a rollaway twin and blowout Queen bed and 2 full bath. The cabin is fully furnished including free Wifi and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including a dishwasher, stove, microwave, full sized refrigerator, and coffee maker. A stack washer/dryer unit is available. The property has two porches. The front porch has a porch swing along with 2 Adirondack chairs and a table while the back porch is a screened in porch where you can sit and enjoy a meal or morning coffee while looking out at the gorgeous lake view and bringing outside in!

- Enjoy the newly added Jacuzzi Hot Tub next to Outdoor Firepit!
- Enjoy beautiful Front porch with a Swing, Adirondack chairs, additional chairs and a table for morning breakfasts
- Another Screened Porch area with dining set giving view of the lake shining like diamonds through the tress. Enjoy a morning coffee or family dinner here!
- Outdoor and Indoor Fire place with plenty of firewood to enjoy after a day on the lake/hike. Firewood will be provided.
- Outdoor picnic table for hangout time or open air dinners!
- Outdoor Gas and Charcoal grill.
- Jetted Bath Tub in Master Suite.
- Kitchen with all the amenities, including 2 Coffee makers, hot water kettle, plenty of utensils, wine glasses, breakfast, lunch and dinner sets, cook and servewear sets and plenty other. Coffee powder, K-pods and Tea are provided.
- Beautiful dining area/sun room surrounded with huge windows over looking Nolin River Lake
- Spacious living room for all fun activities
- TV, Wi-Fi, Board games, puzzles and Corn hole for guest access
- Cozy nook in the loft with ladder access for kids/adults to enjoy a board game or reading a book

There are three stores within 5 miles away for plenty of supplies including groceries, gas, fishing tackle and boating supplies. Mammoth Cave National Park is approximately 30-40 minutes away. Only restaurant on the Nolin Lake - Buoys Restaurant is just 2 minutes away, Cub Run Cave is only 8 miles from the lake house, Blue Hollar Off-Road Park is 16 minutes away and Shady Hollow Golf Course(18 holes) is just 10 miles away. There is a cleaning fee per stay. The cabin is on Central time. For your security and safety, the property is under surveillance. Great place to stay!

Family Get-Away

Great family retreat. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The listing was very accurate and well described. We were close enough to Mammoth Cave to partake in a day of hiking, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of relaxation. Definitely would recommend if you would like a cabin away from the hustle and bustle.

Almost Quaint

Cabin in the woods on the river with no river access, can sometimes hear the river but can’t see it even though you are sitting less than 100 yards from it. Plenty of space in bedrooms for some nicer beds, king size maybe..pullout was atrocious, pillows were terrible. Make sure to get the damage protection and don’t use any of the amenities - they will try to scam you into buying them new stuff.

Nolin Lake trip 2024

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Very clean when we arrived. The cabin has everything you would need. Even a baby gate which was great because we forgot ours. I have no complaints about the cabin and our experience there. Will definitely recommend to others.

Break from the noise

We’ve had a busy couple months and needed a quick break to reset. This cabin was the perfect spot away from the hustle of a big city but close enough for us to go see the park. Glad we got to take some time to recharge.

Lake hideaway

Great location for Nolin Lake activities. Short drive to Mammoth Cave National Park. Host are fantastic and easy to communicate with if you have questions. Outdoor are is great with lighting, picnic tables, bbq pits & a fire pit. Great for families. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Beyond Our Expectations

The property is beautiful and very comfortable. It has everything anyone could need and we were so happy with our experience! The local restaurants aren't great, especially for breakfast, so you should be prepared for that. It did not affect our stay, really. We enjoyed Mammoth Cave and took a nice horseback ride in the fall leaves. I feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Hari is a great host and very receptive to emails with almost immediate responses. We highly recommend this place and would definitely go back!

Wonderful and restful

We took the kids down there for fall break to see mammoth cave, and just relax. The cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed. The kids really loved to climb up in to the little attic and color and I was able to relax and read my book.

Mammoth Cave Trip

We stayed at this cabin with the sole purpose of visiting Mammoth Cave. It is not that close to Mammoth. It took us 45 minutes to get there. It is 20-30 min to get anywhere (gas, groceries, restaurants). I was nervous driving at night as the roads are hilly and curvy, and we saw a lot of deer and Amish buggies. Having said that, the cabin itself was nice, clean, and cozy. It is right on Lake Nolin so would be great if you wanted to do lake activities.

Perfect setting for a family getaway

We stayed at the cabin on Nolin Lake for a weekend getaway celebrating my dad's 80th birthday. It was perfect, so much more than we had anticipated. The pictures online do not capture the beauty, spaciousness, and homey feel of the cabin. It was very clean, smelled nice (which is a big thing for my husband), and filled with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The host communicated thoroughly and responded quickly to questions. We have zero complaints and nothing but positive, wonderful memories that were made. We are hoping to make a return visit in the near future. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous Nolin Lake Cabin

We had a great family getaway in this cabin. The owner was extremely accommodating with extra requests. The cabin was well equipped with indoor and outdoor games. The kitchen had everything we could possible need. Would love to have stayed longer and will definitely book this cabin again!

Curated for Comfort

My sisters and I loved this cabin. It's obvious from the start that each space has been thoughtfully curated for vacation vibes and creating moments together. I appreciated that there were 3 "grown-up" beds so none of us aging adults had to scramble into bunk beds. I will note because I missed it when reviewing the property listing: one of the beds/rooms is a loft leading to one of the two actual bedrooms.

Very nice lake house

The house was very nice and clean. We loved spending time there. It is even better than the pictures. Close to Mammoth Cave and about 1-2 h from other attractions, like the Corvette museum and distilleries. The Lake Nolin dam is worth a visit.

SONS VISITING

My son from Oregon was visiting so we planned an outing with his brother who lives in KY and his 3 sons(my grandsons). This cabin provided plenty of space for all. I was especially pleased the cabin was clean comfortable, and adequately supplied with all the kitchen implements one might need. We forgot to bring coffee k cups and were pleasantly surprised that some were there for our use. The cabin was in a quiet area and we felt very safe. It was a fun filled two days for our family.
