Nice Stay in Encinitas

House is a "lived-in" unit which is listed but ends up with pros and cons for the cost. We were there for 4 nights. Was hoping for more pros for the amount spent. Pros: Great location if wanting to walk to main strip in Encinitas. Beds were comfortable. Communication was great even during Thanksgiving week. Cons: I felt the house was generally cleanish. To me it looks like the cleaners don't do an amazing job especially since they were in the house hours before we checked in. Patios were left dirty, especially the top balcony. Was just undesirable the way it was left by the cleaners but had a great view. Lots of the dishes were left somewhat cleaned, we ended up washing all the silverware and plates. Just overall disappointed in the cleaning crew even for a lived in home. The counter tops were full of lived in home items, unfortunately when booking the location for Thanksgiving we thought we would have more counter space, the pictures show it empty but know that almost every space is filled. One major issue for us was the train across the street. The train itself is not loud but since the home is near an intersection the train will blow a horn every 20-30 minutes as early as 430 am till 1030 pm. You get use to it but does put a damper on it. I checked everywhere on the posting to see if warning was given on the train but could not find anything. The overall stay was good and we made adjustments as needed, just felt the cost for pros and cons was high

Thanksgiving week

We stayed at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was the perfect size for our family of four giving our two older children (17) and (21) each their own room and bathroom. The home is clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed and more. It’s a very short walk to town and I enjoyed running to the beach each morning. We highly recommend!

Visit to Encinitas

We had such a wonderful stay in Encinitas. Lynley was a fantastic host and was incredibly thoughtful in her check in/ check out messaging. Their home is lovely - very clean, comfortable and the perfect location. We were very lucky to have found it for our trip and cannot wait to come back again soon!!

Beautiful home in a convenient location

We had an amazing stay at Lynley's place! She was very communicative ahead of time and answered all of the questions I had. The house was conveniently located in the heart of Encinitas! We're getting married in Encinitas next summer and will certainly recommend Lynley's house for guests looking for a place to stay.

Wonderful Stay!

The house was comfy and cozy and had great views of the ocean. It was very relaxing to sit on the balcony and roof top deck. The house is in a great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with spices. The owner was very nice and quickly responded to messages. I would definitely stay at this property again!
