Surrounded by towering pines in the heart of Hochatown, The White Spruce’s huge wrap - around porch and comfortable, yet modern, decor will make you want to move in and stay forever. Our Luxury BRAND NEW cabin is perfect for one or multiple families.


The White Spruce’s secluded lot gives you ample space to immerse your family in nature without needing a 4x4 vehicle to access its location. Conveniently located within walking distance to fun and entertainment on Sugar Berry Road with quaint gourmet grocery, great family restaurants, microbrewery and coffee just 3 minutes down Hwy 259. Experience the serenity of Broken Bow Lake and nature hikes in Beaver’s Bend State Park only minutes away.

The Main House features 3 king (chiropractor approved!) beds with en-suite bathrooms, along with a bunk room and bath. Luxury organic cotton towels and bedding and quality handcrafted mattresses throughout ensure maximum comfort and peace of mind. The separate Game House includes a loft that sleeps 2, complete with its own bathroom.


Cozy up by the fire at the push of a button and enjoy a movie on the QLED 4K 65” Samsung Frame TV. 1GB Fiber internet, WIFI, and streaming services are included or bring your own by logging in using the Guest option on our 5 other user-friendly Roku connected TVs.


The fully loaded kitchen has quartz counters, coffee bar and induction cooking for the household chef! The indoor dining table is made for family gatherings and seats 8 comfortably with additional seating for 6 at the Kitchen Island. If you choose to venture outdoors to enjoy your meal, the full length covered back porch features dining for 12 and a 6 burner griddle top grill. Perfect for making pancakes, burgers and steaks for a large crowd! 1220 sq ft of outdoor porches include a second fireplace, comfortable lounge seating and a 6 person hot tub. A large glass garage door in the Game House opens to a breeze-way to allow you to connect with nature while enjoying the indoor 75” TV and outdoor 65” TV, air hockey, board games and retro arcade games.


Enjoy taking an afternoon snooze on the hammock or snuggle with a loved one as you gaze at the green pines and blue skies. The kids will love the "splinter free" Adventure World Outdoor Playset and exploring the large 1.3 acre lot and provided nature activities. In the evening, catch fireflies or roast marshmallows at our "SMOKELESS" fire pit surrounded by Polywood Adirondack chairs.

Fun family weekend getaway
This property went above and beyond in covering all of the bases necessary to have the absolute best family weekend. The weather was rainy and yucky, but we spent every minute enjoying the beautiful home and relaxing on the spacious patio!

Perfect Christmas Vacation
The White Spruce was the perfect cabin for our family Christmas vacation. The property was beautiful and had great amenities. The teenagers loved the game house and the younger kids had a blast on the playground. The location felt private and peaceful while still being close to town. We will book this cabin again.

Excellent home!
We loved staying here, one of the best we have stayed at in our 15 years of coming to Broken Bow! The extra game room allowed for the older kids to hang out and not disturb the little ones during nap time or in the evening without having to be quiet. Big family room, kitchen and outdoor dining space allowed for us to all eat together over the holiday weekend without feeling like we are all standing on top of each other. Already talking about booking again for next thanksgiving break. Excellent place to stay for a large group.

The house was perfect for two families - 4 adults and 5 kids. Game room was a hit for the kids and the patio fireplace was the adults favorite. Great location handy to all the restaurants and things to do. We would stay here again.

Holiday weekend
My family celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary over the Labor Day weekend. The house is conveniently located and has all the amenities we needed. The separate game room is really nice and my kids especially enjoyed that. Owner was very responsive with the few questions I had.

I've stayed at many VRBO home and this house has the best equipped kitchen. Lots of pots and pans, plates, bowls, silverware and cooking utensils that are well organized. Everything you need to prepare a meal. My favorite part of the house is the game room/loft area. It is separated from the house by a breeze way. The teenagers can hang out and sleep in this area without disturbing the adults if they decide to be loud and stay up late. The breeze way has a very comfortable couch area with a TV that's nice to hang out in at night when the weather gets cooler. Everyone room has it's own bathroom so you don't have to share. It's perfect for a large family gathering.

All the comforts
Our vacation crew from church chose Broken Bow this year. We had a ball! This home had a huge dining room table where we ate all our meals that we prepared in the great kitchen and the extra large griddle outside made cooking bacon, sausage, and pancakes a breeze. Playing card games around the big table was a huge hit as well. The bedrooms are beautiful and the suites make the stay so convenient. The outdoor space between the game room and house was where us girls could sneak away for a chat by the fire or a little tv time. They've really thought of just about everything to make our stay great!

Great cabin full of family fun
We booked the White Spruce for a 3 day getaway for our family including 2 kids ages 2 and 4. The playground was a great feature and they loved it. Super responsive host and the cabin was beautiful and full of things for our entire family to do. We love Broken Bow and the White Spuce has been our favorite place to stay!

A Great Time at the White Spruce
Our family loved our weekend at the White Spruce. The property was immaculate, comfortabe, and cozy with great features and amenities. It was a great gathering place for six adults and four young children. Location is convenient and beautiful, the house itself is lovely, and the outdoor features (hot tub, play set, fire pit, and griddle) were first rate. We were all sad to see our long weekend come to a close. Looking forward to a return trip very soon.

Beautiful Details
We were delighted by this house and all of the amenities!! Small details such as s’mores ingredients, lovely books, plenty of dishes (including kid dishes too!), tons of cozy blankets really put this house over the top! Our kids loved the play set outback - which was in great condition. The hot tub was very clean and enjoyed by all. The game house was amazing - stocked full of many different types of unique games. One downside was the internet was spotty, but I have a feeling that is pretty typical to the area and not the fault of the house as they even had a WiFi extender. Location was great! There is a cute development at the entrance of the neighborhood. While we were there, the gift shop and candy shop were open. But it appears a BBQ restaurant will open soon and some sort of virtual reality experience. Without traffic, it was just a 5 minute drive to Beavers Bend state park.

We went on a trip to broken bow and stayed at this property. House is very well organized and clean. If I go to broken bow again this is my first choice to stay… Aaron is nice and got quick response.. it is a perfect fit for families with kids.

Beautiful place
It's a nice and beautiful place to stay. Very close to the highway. The neighborhood has a lot of new cabins. The property manager provided good detailed instructions that were helpful. The property has two sections. The main house has four bedrooms in four corners. Three of those have king beds while 4th one has bunk beds. The second section is a kids' play area with stairs leading to a loft with two town beds.

Thank You so MUCH for this wonderful stay! This place is spectacular, so spacious and clean! Definitely recommend for larger families. I was able to easily cook for our family of 10, we had everything we needed to cook,clean, and do laundry. We played family games ate together and roasted marshmallows. The past five days were a Bliss!

Beautiful, peaceful, luxury cabin for family time
I must say that I feel in love with this cabin at first sight. It is absolutely beautiful! My family loved this cabin at first choice. They did not want to see another one for the picking. The pictures do not do it justice. The beds were super comfy. The back porch capture most of my family. They did not want to visit the town. The peaceful, serene ambiance stole our heart. And to see the deers in the woods often just made our day. The kitchen was well stocked. And the game room was perfect for the kids. We all loved this cabin. And our friends are ready to go visit this property with us soon. This might be our annual cabin vacation place. Also, Aaron was an awesome host. He was prompt in responding and very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful location with us.

The Perfect House
We spent 4 days in The White Spruce with extended family. It was a perfect home to stay in. Every bedroom had its own bathroom. If you have travelled with a big group, you know how crucial that is. We never ran out of hot water, even when we came back from hiking and everyone needed to shower. The bedding and towels were all extremely soft and comfortable. The owner was always helpful and responsive when we had questions. They left us a gourmet s’more kit and a beautiful wooden cutting board. The separate game room/loft area was so fun! Air hockey, video games, and board games were all available. We could have stayed at the property for a week and had everything we needed for fun. Sitting out on the beautiful deck and listening to birds was one of our favorite activities. Highly recommend!!

Hi there! The White Spruce was an idea hatched from the desire to have a place to gather and enjoy quality time with family. Growing up in Minnesota, my family had a love affair with lakes and being close to water. After moving to Texas, Broken Bow Lake and Hochatown became a haven for our family to escape from the Dallas city life and enjoy all that nature has to offer. We built our cabin from scratch and poured our love into every corner to make sure you fall in love with it just as our family has.

Why they chose this property

Hochatown is a place you can escape into nature and spend quality time with loved ones. We fell in love with this area several years ago during a family vacation. All seasons have something great to offer in Hochatown: boating in the summer, hiking in the spring and fall, and campfires during the cold winter months!

What makes this property unique

We designed our cabin for families and friendly get togethers. Our unique layout ensures everyone has plenty of space for gathering together and for privacy when needed. The separation of the adjoining game house allows the kids to have space to be loud without upsetting the tranquility of the rest of the house! Our location is central to everything in Hochatown and is walking distance to many hot spots, but still secluded enough to ensure you feel like you have escaped into nature.
