Here is your log cabin getaway you've been dreaming of! Rustic enough to be up North, but still has all the modern comforts of home! secluded on a private road. Located "steps" from the Lily River....Perfect for trout fishing or just sitting on the dock and enjoying a glass of wine or cup of coffee. Miles of walking and biking trails ,and the ice age trails are also close by. The cabin's first floor has two large private bedrooms (full size tempurpedic beds) with handmade log and barn board beds, full bath, and a cozy kitchen with electric stove, fridge, microwave, and all the cookware you will need. The living area is complete with ample comfortable seating, TV and gas fireplace. The 2nd-floor loft has a tempurpedic king size bed and a quiet sitting area with large windows that overlook the forest and river views. Beautiful large wrap around deck with stainless steel gas grill. Plenty of seating to enjoy all the nature around you, and a separate screened-in, lighted gazebo for those late night cocktails or card games by the fire. Class A trout streams and trophy musky waters very close by. Close to nice dining, golf course, lakes, skiing and casino. Whitewater rafting down the raging Wolf River in the summer and endless trails for snowmobiling and skiing. We are located 15 miles from Lakewood, Wisconsin and 5 miles from Pickerel Wisconsin! Fantastic, private and quiet location! P.S. Central Air just added spring of 2022!!!!!!

Quiet, peaceful stay by the river

A welcomed getaway

We were so pleased with how quiet the property was with the calm babbling of the river outside! The home was well stocked, clean and beautifully decorated. The screened gazebo , the fire pit- all amazing. We will definitely return! Our hostess reached out prior to our stay and made our welcome personal.

Loved there are 2 bedrooms on the main floor (there is a large bedroom upstairs also). There is a great wrap around deck where we spent a good bit of time. Nice cushions on the chairs. A beautiful fire-pit area, and we had a fire. Absolutely beautiful river flowing by and rippling over exposed rocks. Saw a deer walk out of the woods and into the water! The home is furnished very nicely, beautiful linens, dishes, and everything you would need to fix a meal. There are 2 sitting areas and both of them have large windows. So beautiful to look out, especially with the aspens twittering. My husband walks with a walker and did just fine in the house and on the deck. This is a great, serene, and beautiful cabin. We went there to relax, read, talk, and rest, and we did that! There is a beautiful gazebo if it gets buggy or too hot, and the furniture inside is very nice. We did not see any bugs at all and no mosquitos while we were there even though we had brought sprays along with us. We took 2-lane roads up and ran into almost no traffic, and it was a gorgeous drive. Took us one hour longer, and it was worth every minute. The windows add so much to this cabin, and the lower parts open to let in air. We used the heat and the air conditioning while we were there (typical WI weather!), and it worked fine. There was also a large window at the top of the house where anyone upstairs could see out as well. The owner has decorated the cabin beautifully.

Such a beautiful location located within a reasonable driving distance from most anywhere in Wisconsin. Check in process was smooth and easy and the cabin itself was comfortable and clean.

This little cabin was exceptionally clean, very inviting and well appointed. The temperpedic beds were a nice and a comfortable surprise - cozy, as they are full size mattresses. Very quiet surroundings. This is a perfect place for rest, reading and relaxation.

Great time under the northern lights

My wife and I visited for our honeymoon ten years ago, and we decided to revisit for our anniversary. A lot has stayed the same, and a lot has changed. The property is as beautiful as it was. It was kind of cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor aspects as much as we'd hoped, but it's plenty cozy! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Cozy cabin by a creek

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a cozy, well-decorated, well-appointed cabin with a perfect, "up-north" feel. After 7 years, my wife and daughters returned for another New Years wintry experience. It didn't disappoint! Laurie is very responsive and helpful. When the Kettlebowl ski hill was closed she tipped us off the the wonderful Paul Bunyan ski hill 25 minutes away. Also, not to be missed is the Jack Lake cross county ski trails with gas-fire place lodge and wood burning fireplace shelter. What a treat, also 25 mins away. Lily Cabin is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a winter getaway!

Just Spectacular!!!

This cabin is so wonderful! Beautiful inside and out. Spacious and inviting, lots of room for all of the guests. The views outside are breathtaking - keep an eye out for the resident eagle in all of its glory! The sounds of the river will melt away the stress you left behind. The kitchen has everything you need. How about having your morning coffee in the gazebo? Yes, it has one! Evenings spent around the fire are delightful! There is the BEST fire pits we have ever seen. And the stars? Oh my! Enjoyment at its best! Don’t miss this rental!

That stream!

Everything was great but the stream made it next level zen. The first night was cool enough to sleep with our windows open and listening to the water was amazing. The wraparound porch with comfortable seating and pots of lavender… talk about serenity with coffee in the morning and drinks at night. The cabin is spotless with everything you could need. Nice upgrade on the bed pillows and the gas grill made steaks & brats to perfection. Our stay was just great and I highly recommend this cabin! One (just one) suggestion- the only place to play cards or board games is the spacious kitchen island but the lighting was sooo weak that it was basically impossible after dark. Replace that single bulb fixture with a nice dimmable LED and my review goes from a 9.5 to a 10. Thanks for having us, your property is a terrific haven to get away from it all!!!

October 2020 Stay

We had a wonderful time escaping to the north woods here. The cabin was very clean with sanitizers everywhere. We really enjoyed our hikes and even built ourselves a snow man while we were here. The river running by is always noticeable and despite the damage from the storm last year to some of the trees you still feel like you are in the middle of the woods. Loved the fireplace and used it a lot to keep ourselves nice and cozy. If you are looking to get away from it all, look no further.

Awesome cabin on the river. Nice getaway and close to other North Woods locations. Recommend for those wanting to have a nice secluded cabin that is on the doorstep of the great outdoors. Clean and well maintained.

Amazing getaway!

Childhood best friends celebrating our 50th birthdays. This is a beautifully kept home and property. Exceptionally clean and adorably decorated. It has all the comforts of home as well as a screened-in gazebo for day drinking on the river. Close to hiking trails, including several trailheads for the Ice Age Trail. Laurie was an exceptional host who was helpful and stayed connected throughout our stay as we needed her! Awesome way to unplug, reconnect, have some laughs all with a scenic background!

Absolute Beauty and Serenity

There was no guesswork in planning. VRBO had all of the information available just as advertised. The property owners were gracious as we forgot about the time change and arrived a hour early. The cabin will be at the top of our list when we visit our Son and family in Wisconsin. They loved it and said they would use it for a getaway. It was so peaceful. The river is right outside a wonderful sitting room with windows right down to the floor for the complete view and serene sounds of water over rocks. The fireplace was a bonus. Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin with us.

Perfect cabin and setting for a private, relaxing and peaceful getaway!

My wife and I were in desperate need of a week off without any noise or distractions. We found the perfect place near the town of Lily, WI. I can not say enough about this wonderful cabin. It is very private and so peaceful and relaxing. We loved the river that ran behind the cabin and sat on the little dock many times just relaxing and listening to the stream go by. If that wasn't enough, there is also a Gazebo where we spent a lot of time reading and playing cards as well as a very cool firepit which we used several nights. The cabin is decorated so nicely and provided a wonderful ambience during our stay. Laurie is a wonderful host and her attention to detail and cleanliness goes above and beyond. If you are looking for a quiet getaway where you can completely relax and unwind, do yourself a favor and stay at this wonderful gem. We will definitely be back someday!
