This townhome was very clean and has huge rooms. The host graciously left a big box of pastries and some local coffee for us. He was a great communicator, and check in and check out were clear and easy. The townhome is a couple of miles from downtown Stowe, private, quiet, with beautiful misty mornings in October. It's in a great location for mountain drives, great food in Stowe and Waterbury, shopping, and cider tasting!
The fourth bedroom downstairs is not a true bedroom. The bed is at one end of the family/game room. No closet or bath - as the photos show and description states. There are no windows downstairs, just a door, and even in October it was warm for sleeping. We didn't want to leave the door open as the screen door doesn't lock and it is bear country.
The beds have foam toppers, which are very uncomfortable for me.
The shower tub is slippery. There is a mat for it, but it was at the back of the bathroom closet, so we did not find it until the morning that we checked out.
The townhome is minimally decorated, and kitchen stock is meh, which was okay since we didn't spend a lot of time there. No red or white wine glasses, only champagne flutes, no ice maker in the fridge, needs a new drip coffee pot - the current one just keeps dripping and gurgling for hours and doesn't finish making coffee. No makeup cloths, but plenty of medium grade towels. TV was Roku, and we could not get any NFL games for free.
