Our Possum Valley Hideaway offers you and your family a secluded, yet modern dwelling. Located on in4 secluded acres, up a long, winding, paved and gravel road , through the heart of the Appalachian Mountains lies your own 'Little Dash of Heaven'

We have 2 bedrooms, ** AND A NEWLY ADDED LOFT!!!!**1 bathroom with newly installed bath tub, and an open living room with kitchen. Kitchen includes utensils, dishes and cookware. Come relax on our wrap around porch while swinging in our 2 porch swings. Enjoy the wildlife such as many birds, whitetail deer, wild turkey, squirrels and rabbits, which may be seen at any time.

During your stay you can enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, lakes, bike riding on the Creeper Trail, mountain scenery, and NASCAR Racing at the Bristol Raceway.

Fabulous getaway cabin with access to alot of activities!
This is a quaint cabin with a fabulous hot tub and great swing on the front porch. The view from the hot tub is wonderful. The front bedroom has a very comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything claimed. There are neighbors around but you do feel nice and secluded. Would stay again.

Only problem we had was finding the place. They should most definitely change the address on vrbo. The night was rainy foggy and scary for city slickers like us lol and finding the place was bad, other than that we loved it.

Another Great Stay
We have stayed in the cabin multiple times while checking on our own log home build. It’s always clean, cozy, and peaceful. Hopefully we won’t have to stay again because our build will be done, but we won’t hesitate to recommend to friends & family!

Nice Cabin
This cabin is in a quiet and kind of remote neighborhood. Setting is private with only one house visible through the trees. There are two ways to get to the house: one a very narrow and windy gravel road and another mostly paved road. You can tell there was some storm damage from Hurricane Helene as there are piles of brush around the edges of the yard but it is in the process of being cleared. It was a very cold and stormy weekend when we stayed. Even when the power went out, the cabin stayed warm with the gas fireplace and we could still cook on the gas stove. It was like glamping. We enjoyed our time there and hanging out in the hot tub. Our hosts checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. I would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was exactly what we were expecting. The owners were extremely friendly and helped us when we called or texted. It is a great getaway spot! (The hot tub is especially amazing)

Wonderful getaway!
What a wonderful little cabin, we enjoyed our stay so much. We spent most of the time relaxing on the porch and at the fire pit. Very peaceful and quiet area. Check in was easy and communication with the host was helpful and timely. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We would definitely return here!

We were riding 4-wheelers in the woods one day and there was a for sale sign on this lil blue cabin we always loved. And.. Well.. That's what started it all! We have done alot of fixing up here and there but all in all we just want others to enjoy our. 'Lil Dash of Heaven'!

Oh... Well.. Just wait til you see it and we know it will speak for itself!!! We enjoy the surroundings and we enjoy the wildlife.. Deer, turkeys, birds, squirrels, we've even seen a fox as well as a black bear...

What makes this property unique

Totally secluded is probably the thing we like best!! And the porch for swinging and rocking!!
