Many of the residences in this neighborhood are relatively historic, built no later than 1939, and in some cases, quite a bit earlier. A number of residences were also built between 1940 and 1969. This neighborhood still stands out as unique due to the dominance of people living here who work in fast-food service workers, major sales accounts, and sales.

Excellent Stay!

Just what we needed. I stayed with three friends. The place looks better and bigger in person than the photos show. Easy access to the house. Tv, internet works fine. There are monitors in the living room and rooms to show the cameras activities around the house so that was comforting. All appliances worked. There were some towels and blankets but if you bring a big group it’s best to bring toiletries, towels and blankets. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors were friendly and kept to themselves. A lot of rebuilding around the areas of Detroit so be cautious. A storm came through and knocked out electricity on the block for a few hours. I had no idea so when I returned home the lights were flickering, got in contact with John and he was quick to find out what happened and kept me updated and made sure we were good to go. The house felt like home to four dudes who didn't require much maintenance. Stores and restaurants are near by. A lot of historical homes and buildings close by. I would definitely recommend this spot and use it again.

It's was okay

Lower quality than other stays. Pillows, blanket, decorations, house was low quality. But they provided towels. Great communication from host. Needs to upgrade the room, but good overall
