Amazing Family Cabin near Wheeler Lake! Close to beach, UTV an Snowmobile trails

Enjoy a cozy stay with up to 12 guest in a private cabin with secluded lot. The space is not huge, but the layout allows for a great gathering. with 2 private bedrooms, and 3 additional sofa sleepers in the other living areas, there is plenty of sleeping space. There are two living room areas and a fantastic sun room surrounded by windows for your morning coffee relaxation. Large outdoor space to roam, and a great outdoor seating/eating area around the fire-pit. Also there are (4) security cameras located outdoors 1) pointed towards driveway entrance. 2) pointed at back entrance of the cabin. 3) pointed at the front yard and fire pit areas. 4) pointed at the backyard of the cabin. All cameras have audible capabilities.

Located 2.5 miles from Lakewood township, you are close to all the amenities you need, but still get to enjoy your Northwoods getaway!

- 0.5 miles to the boat landing
- 1 mile to the beach
- Located on the dusty trail ATV/Snowmobile system, you can leave with your toys right from this property.
- Also close proximity to public hunting land in/around Lakewood.

Please note that the second bathroom is separate from the main house, and is located in the garage side door entrance. We will allow up to two dogs under the following conditions:

1) dogs are not allowed on the main cabin area, and must remain in the sunroom while indoors.

2) we provide an additional sheet to be placed over the sofa sleeper in the sun room when dogs are using it.

3) we charge an additional $100 per fee for the stay.

Perfect location to explore the area!

The cabin and it's grounds were perfect for our extended family. Lots of outside space for games, the fire pit was easy and safe to use, and the deer watching was magical. We had some rainy, cold nights, so we enjoyed and watching the Olympics !

Perfect Place

This cabin was perfect. Clean, a great location near Lakewood and the beach, and the layout was great. Lots of space in the cabin and on the land. The kids loved feeding the animals! I would stay here again for sure!

Fantastic Stay

Enjoyed a long weekend with family at the cabin. Had a wonderful stay. Steve and Preston were exceptional hosts. They were very responsive and very clear about any questions and general information. The cabin was perfect and clean and comfortable. Looking forward to another stay here.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay in the Lakewood area. Clean & organized. Bathroom in the garage worked out great. There was room for more but was the right size for 4 adults & 3 young children. Large fire pit was nice, but seating area needs to be upgraded.

Very beautiful home in a quite, relaxing reserved area. overall it met all standard expectations, very well organized, cleaned and the host where very accommodate with all of us. I would rate our stay a 10/10 and highly recommend to friends and family!!

The home was comfortable and the hosts put a lot of thought into little details to make it nice. Simple things like having laundry detergent and dish soap. Loved the tea tree! Thank you!

Perfect Family Vacation

Our stay at this Lakewood, WI cabin was wonderful. The cabin is modern, well maintained, and super clean. The kitchen is one of the best stocked with appliances and utensils of any VRBO I've rented. The location was perfect for our family. A very private lot with lots of room outside for the kids to run, a huge parking area, and a great fire pit. In the late afternoon the deer would wander through. We were a short drive to a beach with shallow water for the kids to play. The golf course, grocery store, and town are all less than 10 minutes away. Steve, the host, was readily available for any questions we had. This was one of the best family vacations we've had.

I live in and am from Green Bay. I have worked my whole life as an electrician, and am nearing retirement. Myself and my family built this cabin in 1997, and have spent many, many weekends up north enjoying Wheeler Lake, Hunting, and ATVing. I look forward to sharing my amazing property and allowing other families to make memories like mine has made over the years.

Why they chose this property

I bought this lot back in 1989, with the intention of building a cabin on it. For the first 8 years, we had a small trailer parked on the lot, prior to building. We loved the privacy of this area and the proximity to the lake, and town of Lakewood.

What makes this property unique

You will have a hard time finding a property that gives you the privacy of no direct neighbors, the space to move around, and the close proximity to the lake, the trails, hunting, fishing, and the forest. With cabins on the lake, you lose the privacy and space and are typically really close to neighbors.
