Amazing beach house

Great house with an amazing view!

The house was extremely clean when we arrived. Communication with the host was EXCELLENT and any time I had a question she would respond promptly. The house has its own private board walk to the beach. And what I really appreciated the most was the host allowed us to check in whenever we wanted to and stay as late as we wanted on our check out date.

Houston Reagion Family Reunion

We shared an amazing time with my wife's aunt, uncle, cousins and their adult children. The beach access was perfect to walk beach and do a little shore line fishing. The meals and time we shared were amazing with plenty of parking and room for everyone to enjoy each others company aseither in the house or on the deck. Beautiful sunrises each morning with coffee and quiet conversations. What an amazing experience!!

Great memories

We enjoyed our time here. We loved walking on the beach and looking for shells. House was set back from the beach slightly which gave a feeling of privacy while still having great views.

Amazing beach house

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beach house. It is beautiful inside and out. Plenty of deck furniture and indoor seating. There was plenty of room in the house. The kitchen is massive and very well stocked. Everything was in great condition. The hosts are wonderful and sent us a delicious pie. They were responsive and very kind. Perfect place for a beach vacation.

Great Beach house stay!

We enjoyed everything about this property! A great place to stay when your looking for a quiet beachfront property. And we had a delicious key lime pie waiting for us upon arrival! Make sure you hit Ann up to cook you some delicious dinners or desserts! Thank you so much! It was a great time!

Relaxing beach getaway

The communication with the owner was so easy and she was so kind. The pie she bought for us was amazing, and thoughtful! The location was fabulous! There’s no close house on either side and a private walk over the dunes, straight to the sand! Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

We visited the week of Thanksgiving so we had the perfect sweatshirt weather. The house was clean and spacious and the host couldn’t have been any nicer. Everything was better than we anticipated. The weather could have been a little nicer and the mosquitoes are no joke, but overall we had a wonderful time.

Fantastic getaway

We recently returned from a weekend getaway at a beach house, and it was fantastic! The house was spacious enough for our family and had all the amenities we needed. Being just a short walk from the beach was perfect, especially with our little ones. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking beach view from our deck. Debbie, our host, was wonderful and very responsive. Plus, she surprised us with a delicious key lime pie! We loved every moment and would definitely book again.

Quiet, Private Rental with lots of Space and Great Deck!

Great rental. The bedrooms are spread out, which gives renters more privacy. The kitchen is huge and has lots of counter space. Very comfortable furniture. Loved spending time on the deck. Great view of the ocean from enough distance that you don't have the traffic and noise from people on the beach, but quick easy access over the walkway to the water. Would definitely rent again.

Stayed with a couple of buddies at this property for a week and I have nothing but good things to say. Clean, comfortable home in a great relaxing location. Debbie was marvelous to work with and even had her aunt bring us a marvelous apple pie. Highly recommended

Perfect getaway

The pictures didn't do this house justice. My family and i have stayed at several beach houses throughout the years and everyone loved the house and made several comments on how we should stay at this house again. It was very clean and open with a great view. The deck was amazing and the distance from the beach was great. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay again.

Awesome property

Awesome property for a weekend away with friends or family. Large open concept great for visiting and loft is great for the kiddos if they are careful on the stairs. My only issue is with wifi was a mobile hotspot, so not the best, but at the beach wifi isnt too vital. Overall, great experience.

Great Beach House on the Gulf of Mexico

This is a great comfortable beach house for families of all ages. We are in our late 80's and had family as young as our two great grands 1and 3 years old. It's right on the beach with a great walkway that takes you right to the beach. They have chairs and umbrellas for you to use. We have rented many vacation rentals over the years and Debbie and Ken are the best hosts we have ever encountered. They are responsive to any little thing you mention you would like to have. The washer quit working just before our grandkids arrived with two little ones.The service man had to order a part. Within a couple of days the part was available and he installed it on a Sunday. I have to tell you about Ann who is Debbie's aunt. She makes the best cakes and pies we have ever had. She also makes other great dishes such as the lasagna and vegetable soup she made for us. When we arrived Debbie had Ann deliver one of her key lime pies, one of the best we have ever had. We ordered a second one before we left. Ann has a book at the house with all the things she will make and deliver.We highly recommend this beach house for a great relaxing time.

Best Beach House Yet

We had an amazing week at this gorgeous property!! The house was amazing in the perfect location. The property was so clean and spacious for our luggage. The beds were very comfortable! The air conditioning was amazing after a hot day on the beach and exploring. The drive into Galveston was so beautiful on the shoreline, took about 40 minutes to get to the pier. I loved the dune walk bridge to the beach, so many beautiful flowers and natural vegetation to enjoy! The patio shower was the perfect temperature. The top patio made ocean meditation so peaceful ♡ I loved this property!

Delightful beach retreat

The area and home are lovely. Beaches had plenty of room for everyone and were clean. The home itself was spacious and comfortable. Minor maintenance issue with dish washer. The laundry machines worked great! Helpful notes from owners in many locations of the house gave us extra tidbits to make life easier. Quiet location, plenty to do in a short travel radius if you need a beach break or have poor weather. Delightful hosts. Would book again.

Close to the beach!

We were close to the beach, right across the dune walkway! The house was perfect for us. There was enough room for us to spread out and cozy enough to all watch tv together. Nice big kitchen, we cooked crab legs and shrimp with Debbie’s big lobster pot. House was clean. Having a washer and dryer was nice, we didn’t have to bring home dirty clothes. Any question we had were answered right away. The only problem we had was the weather, 😕 it was foggy a lot. Which isn’t the owners fault!! 😊 we were there a month and everything was great!

Beautiful beachouse

This was a fantastic house....great location, very clean, plenty of room, fully equipped kitchen with newer appliances. From the deck, and from inside the house on the beach side, there's an unobstructed view of the Gulf. It's set back a bit off the beach strip, which gives you a buffer from the action of the beach when you want a more quiet escape. The house also has its own private walkover to the beach which is very convenient. I also recommend ordering from the amazing Ann (her menu is on the kitchen counter) who bakes the most wonderful desserts as well as entire meals if you don't feel like cooking on your vacation. This was a really nice treat for us and we will order her food and desserts every time we return. The owners are exactly the kind of folks you want to be your hosts, friendly and helpful, but also give you your space. Thank you Debbie and Ken for a great vacation! :-)

As Advertised Perfection

Just got home from spending the week here and I don't think I would have changed a single thing. We had 6 adults, 2 children and 1 teenager. The spacing within and closeness to the beach were perfect for all. Debbie and her aunt were gracious hosts, offering suggestions near by and the seemingly famous pie left for us was delicious. We even ordered and had one sent to family friends in Galveston. I wish we didn't already have plans for next summer, otherwise, I'd already be reserving. Gotta find a way to get back ASAP.

This place stole our hearts

This was one of our most favorite family vacations EVER. The owner was incredible and amazing hospitality as she had an entire homemade key lime pie waiting for us. It was the best pie I have ever had. Thank you, Desserts by Ann, (check out her FB page)! The boardwalk was beautiful and the sunsets exceptional. It was quiet during the week and then at night, some have bonfires on the beach. On the weekend, it got busy with visitors and it was fun - they even had an ice cream truck driving up and down the beach. You can catch some fish from the beach - say hello to Woody who frequent fishes there. They had a skimboard and some boogie boards for the kids to use. Really fun waves and warm water when we went. We had some strong winds one evening and then the next day, treasures of shells covered the beach. Check out Surfside Loco (just down the road) for the best tamales. Galveston was a short drive and so much to see and do! Be sure to stop at Shrimp N Stuff for the best fresh seafood and then just down the road visit Cordray Drug Store for the rolled ice cream! Texas was so friendly. We'll be back someday. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
