1000 Islands Round Island Cottage - Brun Arche - Clayton NY
Waterfront cottage at head of Round Island, also known as, Frontenac Island located on the St. Lawrence River.
A short 5 minute boat ride from Clayton, NY town docks. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the River right in the heart of the 1000 islands. We can't wait for you to share our historic river experience that our family has enjoyed for generations.
With a century old cottage on a remote island comes special property considerations. Our Rental Agreement is long, but necessary, to help guests embrace the special circumstances of island life in an old lovely cottage.
Basic WiFi free. Higher speeds available for additional fee. It is the guests responsibility to request and pay for higher internet speed.
Cottage accessible by boat only. No bridge. No ferry.
Rental Agreement is automatically sent by VRBO at time of reservation. Note: VRBO does not make rental agreements available to read until after the reservation.
A Fire-No Smoking Hazard Acknowledgement will be sent to your email address after the reservation is made.
Read carefully all property rules in the rental agreement sent to you after reservation. You will be required to provide Government ID, sign and return to owner *rental agreement and *No-Smotking-Fire hazard acknowledgment.
We enforce a maximum of ten (10) overnight guests due to this lovely old cottage septic system.
Pets are not allowed unless approved by host.
Boat Rental: Spicer Marine, Clayton Marina and other marinas in Clayton, NY rent boats. You are welcomed and asked to call marinas for details.
Boat Taxi: RJ's Marine provides Boat Taxi service. Call them to get rates.

Howdy! I’m Hattie. Brun Arche cottage has been in my family for over 100 years! I grew up in Pennsylvania during the school year and spent every summer on Round Island since birth. Our family cottage is now in its fourth generation of ownership. The 1000 Islands is a special place to me, and now to my three grown children and their children too. Our love for the river and island living runs deep, and we cannot wait to share this experience with you! The natural environment of Round Island is our place to relax and enjoy nature, fishing, swimming, and boating.
