The Skyline condo was in a nice location. Very quiet, no train track noise. Upon arrival the property was most certainly cleaned and sanitized.....but there was a missed spot. Though the kitchen, living/dining and bedrooms were all clean, the one issue I had was the upstairs bathroom. Specifically, the shower curtain liner. It was fabric, and I feel, should be washed after each and every renter. Unfortunately, this bathroom liner was not clean. In fact, the bottom hemline was orange w/ slime up to about 6 inches. I was thankful that there was a very nice and well supplied laundry set up so I was able to take the liner down, wash it and rehang it, clean and ready for use. The sad part was that we had taken this trip as a vacation and having to start the trip off by doing laundry wasn't meeting our need. The fact that we didn't see the liner situation until late at night the first night I figured I could remedy the situation much faster doing it myself than to try to get someone to come to the unit to change it out. Other than that, the kitchen was very nicely supplied w/ your traditional kitchen tools/supplies. The living room was set up nicely too, though the couch I believe has seen better days. Sitting down on the couch, you soon discovered that you were sitting with your knees up to your ears, as you sunk down quite low. The couch was for additional sleeping for two, but I would not want to be one of the two to use it as a bed. No support. The beds were, for the most part, very nice. One individual in our party was 6'2" and his feet hung over the end of the bed. Not the worst situation, but didn't make for the best of sleep. One note to bring up is the ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom. It overheated, also the first night, and as a result we woke to the very strong smell of something that smelled like it was burning. Fortunately, there was no fire, but with no A/C, the fan was definitely needed. We were thankful that there was a secondary fan, so it worked out fine, but for those following, don't use the upstairs ceiling fan. One last thought I would suggest is for the owner to label the light switches. Lots of on and offs, plus the bulbs seem to be on energy saving mode........very dim. If you plan on reading, bring a nice bright light.
Would we stay again, absolutely, but only with a few minor changes.
